Maldon about to upgrade my Hackintosh from my coffee lake build.

I'm gonna go with this board and a 13900k

Will I be ale to use my existing alpine ridge Thunderbolt gigabyte add-on card with this? I need it for my Apollo Twin X sound interface.

Hello MaLdOn!  ventura is not booting with Hyperthreading enable in bios. kernel panic with : Should have 32 cores, but only found 24 for Die 0......

Boot ok with hyperthreading off, but system report shows number of core 24 and HT disabled. without cpufriend and cpu topology, in fact them make no diference, the problem seems HT setting enable or disabled.

I9 13900k, z790M aorus elite, BIOS F4a, DDR5 6200Mhz, rx6600.

Any idea what i\m doing wrong ?

Use correct EFI folder with bios/uefi on default settings.

Hi @MaLd0n, thank you so much for your work!

My Setup:

  • Gigabyte Aero G
    • Bios F10
  • Intel 13700k
  • Radeon RX 6850XT
  • 2x32 64GB Ram 6200mHz
  • Gigabyte Titan Ridge V1
    • UAD Apollo Twin
    • Call Digit TS3 Dock
    • Presonus Quantum 4848 TB Audio Interface
  • open core: 0.9.9
  • macOS: 13.6.4

Not Working:

  1. Thunderbolt Hotplug

My only issue is Thunderbolt. I did the entire TB3 Hotplug process, but the minute I add SSDT-DTGP it stops recognizing every Thunderbolt device.

The thing is that with without the thunderbolt SSDT thunderbolt works without hotplug. But my Presonus Interface need hotplug for it to work. It is recognized by the software but not by the OS, cant choose it either as out or in. (This is the main problem)

I have tried fixing DMAR table but my original DMAR doesn't have any Reserved Memory Region, and Apple VT-d is enabled in IOReg without fixing the DMAR table

Any fix on the Hotplug side?

Is there any SSDT-DTGP for Raptor Lake?

Is it necesarry to fix the DMAR even though VT-d is enabled?

Do you have the Titan Ridge Card in the 2nd (PR05) or 3rd (PR09) slot (any diference)?

Thank you very much!

Thanks for the reply, do you know if there is any way to make hotplug work on Z790 + 13th gen?
