Guide - MSI B360 Gaming Arctic (Catalina)
onemanosx replied to onemanosx's topic in Guides and Tutorials
[ref]MacUser[/ref], Block USBInjectAll and XHCI-unsupported kext in clover so that they will not load. Upload a copy of Ioreg as proof. ASUS-B360-USB.kext.zip More can be done to further tweak your build but there are no ACPI tables in origin folder. And, your clover driver folder needs to be cleaned up. Basically, you either use just aptiomemoryfix or combo of osxaptiofix3+emuvariable. NOT ALL at the same time. You also do not need legacy aptiomemoryfix-64 driver in UEFI -

Looks good! You might also want to implement custom USB kext/SSDT for a better USB connection and eliminate use of USB limit patch. Use Hackintool to generate. https://imgur.com/pL7VAk9 https://imgur.com/wJ7ojns Enjoy! -
DSDT Patch request [Dell Inspiron gaming 7567]
onemanosx replied to laloalire's topic in DSDT & Patch Requests
Simply, yes. As an example, why would you add SSDT-PNLF when the patch is already done in DSDT? -

onemanosx replied to pi2in3's topic in Mojave (10.14) BR
[ref]pi2in3[/ref], Check if work and extract new sendme for checks. Place file in Clover/ACPI/Patched folder. DSDT.aml.zip Use only these patches in Clover. change GFX0 to IGPU change HECI to IMEI change SAT0 to SATA change HDAS to HDEF Delete VoodooTSCSync.kext If you can boot without it. Also delete IntelMausi kext. You don't need it. -
problems on Mojave 10.14.6 installing on Lenovo Ideapad 110
onemanosx replied to pi2in3's topic in Mojave (10.14) BR
[ref]pi2in3[/ref], From here, your track pad is using Emily Dinesh's ApplePS2SmartTouchPad. This is a very old but still functional kext I suppose. Read up more on the kext's supported gestures here https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/1948-elan-focaltech-and-synaptics-smart-touchpad-driver-mac-os-x/ https://imgur.com/OpfMmXV So, with that you wont be needing the following kexts (so delete them) a. NoTouchID b. Voodool2CHID c. Voodool2C d. VoodooPs2Controller (ApplePS2SmartTouchPad also comes with supported keyboard controller) 2. In addition, your ethernet is RealTekRTL8100. So you can delete the below kexts, too. https://imgur.com/SxVY40q a. AtherosE2200Ethernet b. RealTekRTL8111 3. I see you do not have any supported Broadcom Wifi card, delete this too. a. AirportBrcmFixup 4. You may also safely remove the below kexts a. XHCI-unsupported b. SATA-Raid_Usupported c. SATA-Unsupported d. NullCPUPowerManagement For a better hackintosh experience, you may want to patch your DSDT. Press F4 at Clover boot loader (to extract ACPI tables to ACPI/Origin) and extract new RunME files. That's all I have to say for now. -

[ref]pi2in3[/ref], i will check your files later when i get home. But, deleting smartouchpad shld not cause issues in booting. I hope you are uploading runme files or debug script and not just your Dsdt or EFI folder. Thanks -

onemanosx replied to pi2in3's topic in Mojave (10.14) BR
These should just work with either voodoops2controller kext or ApplePS2SmartTouchPad. You should be able to tell from ioreg which kext are being used by your trackpad. You do not need voodooI2c kexts. I have no idea why you have VoodooPS2Keyboard & VoodooPS2Trackpad kexts out in others folder as these kexts are used as plugins to voodoops2controller. https://imgur.com/7tj0rVG Solve your battery indicator and track pad preferences should show (at least this is true for I2C devices). -

DSDT Patch request [Dell Inspiron gaming 7567]
onemanosx replied to laloalire's topic in DSDT & Patch Requests
[ref]laloalire[/ref], I took a look at your files. You dont need the SSDTs except for maybe I2C,UIAC and BRT6. Why? Because your DSDT is fully patched. You also do not need the renames that refers to the SSDT esp XOSI, _DSM, PRW -

As you already know HD3000 is not supported in Mojave. If you tried to install AppleIntelHD3000Graphics.kext, AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsGA.plugin, AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsGLDriver.bundle, AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsVADriver.bundle, AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext, AppleIntelSNBVA.bundle. acquired from High Sierra 10.13.6 into S/L/E then do not forget to rebuild kext cache sudo kextcache -i/ Else, stick with HD3000 supported OS (which is the better option).
