No idea with battery, maybe some codes I have not encountered before. Just use track pad in polling mode. No idea about the single click, though.

Not sure about the right click But, you can try the 3 GPI0 pins and see if your track pad can work in interrupt mode. If not, just remain in Polling mode. ASUS GPI0 are known to be very buggy for interrupt mode, afaik.
