i7-10700k, z590 UD AC, nVidia 710 2 gb, patch request
RYTD74 replied to 2000late's topic in DSDT Patch Requests
ACPI EXTRACT ALL APP from OLARILA Also congrats on the imessage facetime success. I wrote the guide orginally on reddit an they yanked it down saying i disobey there posting rules and blah blah. So i come to Olarila and ask if i can post here and Maldon said post your guide no problems. And so i did and im glad to see ir helped someone else. Thats all I was trying to do from the start. But im glad to hear that it worked for you, hopefully it will be able to help others. Have a good day! -
Desktop CoffeeLake Mac OS 13 Ventura successfully implemented.
RYTD74 replied to Parpiyev Baxromjon's topic in Ventura (13)
What Maldon was saying was that Your personal EFI success above is good news for YOU! But there is a Olarila premade EFI that is recommended to the General Public respectively bcuz of the versatility of so many different systems the premade Olarila EFI Folders are made to accommodate these versatilities whereas Yours may or may not per/se. Have a Good Day Not being rude or anything im just curious after looking at your efi It appears that you used the standard OLARILA.aml in your acpi folder to boot with, which means Maldons EFI Folder for 300 SERIES worked for you. But its surprising that you were able to boot at all bcuz the config plist had a few 4 to 5 different "tools and "drivers" that were inside the tools and drivers folder but were not accounted for in the plist at all, being as "fickle" as open core is about having a organized plist im very surprised that you didnt get kernel panicked and bcuz you had sucess you said thats whats baffled me because the state of your config plist is very disorganized. It must have been that OLARILA SSDT aml file that pulled thru! Im always trying to learn so take it wrong im not trying to insult you im just curious as to why that worked Nice setup though ! -
disk utility Internal storage (ssd) does not show up on disk utility
RYTD74 replied to Gabriel Vitor's topic in Catalina (10.15)
use catalinaAHCIport.kext if installing BIGsUr and above Use SATA Unsupported.kext if installing Catalina or below. format as GUID & APFS as Maldon said during installation using Disk Utility which You will have access to during install setup. Also make sure you have HFS+.efi driver as well in drivers folder otherwise your PC will see nothing macOS related.- 6 replies

Your serial is connected to your SM Bios. So incase your using a macbook 2010 SMBIOS on current machine running Monterey which I doubt that You are, then the answer would be "No" I mean you can try it but I dont think it will work. HOWEVER THE METHOD BELOW HAS WORKED FOR ME HUNDREDS OF TIMES "Yes I clean Install quite alot" for friends and my machines etc. Lol Four things need your attention okay. System Serial Number=CO7X19JMGJYVX Board Serial Number=C07HGWGNJVRGGKHDF. <--examples System UUID=C69HTFSD-4898-M8ED-7ZVC-JQDFERTDSECL ROM= E4 E5 D4 D5 C4 C5 Once you have generated your own personal serials, use the method described here in contrast to the above,You want yours to look like this. It is very simple just utilize the serial number & the last 12 digits of UUID whatever they are. So if you generated the numbers above for example then here is what you want it to look like below for example. SystemSerialNumber=C07X19JMGJYVX BoardSerialNumber =C07X19JMGJYVXGKHDF SystemUUID = C69HTFSD-4898-M8ED-7ZVC-JQDFERTDSECL ROM =JQDFERTDSECL Now continue thourgh installation and you should be okay. It has worked for me 100s of times doing clean install with same apple id. If you dont want to clean install then ae quite a few steps that you will have to do involving deleting and cleaning up networks folder and caches imessage folder caches etc. Otherwise it will fail if you dont. I wold leave a link but imnot sure if The sites administrator Maldon is cool with referencing other sites that are of the Hackintosh Subject because they can or could be found by searching the Olarila archives? So a quick Google search will land you where u need to go . Hope this helps.

First Your DSDT.aml had 4 Errors in it. (I fixed Them) I can attach screenshots. Here is your efi with only a few chnges mainly in your framebuffer section under device properties and your kexts folder. Updated to O.C 7.7 . Note: if your using a intel 8250U I dont know why your not trying out the MBP 15,2 SMBIOS? It appears to be a closer match then the 14,1. But You may have your own reasons I understand. Anyhow try it out see if it works. I couldnt tidy up all i have to go to work for awhile but i tried to get it as close as possible. Let me know if works. https://we.tl/t-PZDt86VXqP. there is a link with efi if you would like to try. screenshots are in the archive zip have agood day Archive.zip

PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1c,0x7)/Pci(0x0,0x0) AAPL,slot-name String Internal@2,0,0 device-id Data <F3240000> model String Airport Controller device_type String Network Controller (Airport) try placing your network settings in the device properties of your config. plist. That does help sometimes. You can use hackintool and click on the "pci" on the top menu that spreads out across the top when you open the app. It will give a list of all your Pci hardware, ids, etc. Find your network card that your trying to use and enter the info into the config plist under the device properties section for example..........below is me for one setup. YOU HOWEVER,would place your own info in those spots and put in your config plist. That should help and if your having issue with exact location specs etc then use IO Registry but hackintool should give You no problems. The Internal@2,0,0 is self preference, you can also use the same address location of Internal@0,28,7/0,0 which is what hackintool would list it as but sometimes that doesn't activate it from my experience so the alternate is Internal@2,0,0 which you will find your equivalent value in IO Registry if needed. Hope this helps

Hp Laptop 15s-du2xxx Elan tochpad not working
RYTD74 replied to Talha Zahid's topic in DSDT & Patch Requests
YEAH NO PROBLEM. Im saying my issue was the charger. But Throttle Stop works but I checked and its not available on macOS. I WILL SE IF I CN FIND A ALTERNATIVE. yOURS MIGHT REQUIRE A 95 WATT CHARGER AND IF ALL YOU HAVE IS 65 OR 35 IT WONT WORK AT FULL SPEED. Then again it could be issue that I know nothing about -

Hp Laptop 15s-du2xxx Elan tochpad not working
RYTD74 replied to Talha Zahid's topic in DSDT & Patch Requests
hey You know what I had a similar problem with my pc. MY CHARGER WAS A STANDRD 35 WATT DELL charger but on intel site the ark intel said it needed to be 65 watt in order for it to work corectly. Whic was not a big issue i just had one ordeed for me online and plugged itup it looked identical to the 35 watt charger i had to begib but this was a 65 watt and it cured all that. (However note: At least on Windows you can bypss this throttling with a free program called "throttlestop" https://www.techpowerup.com. It works and makes he processsor work at the speed its supossd to be clocking at. mine was at 3.10 to 3.6GHZ but with the 35 watt adapter on windows it was 0.79ghz so i was trippin but thatprogram will help on windos im not sure if mac version available. But what in saying is you problem may be in your adapter plug. its worthlooking into at least also i 4got 2 mention that in ark intel its refered to as your "TDP" -
Im sorry man I didnt communicate very well there. No i haveno problems with the ivy bridge. I was at the time using a dell e6430 laptop which i had basiclly learned alt of my hackintosh skills on over the past two years and so i was just curious about your injection of the imac 17,1 sm bios on he ivy bridge setup. Bcuz i for moterey used 12,1 MBP. I guess i assumed you wee on a laptop nd i was just curious how the spoofingwas going with imac17,1 on tha setup was all. So i just didnt commuicate thatvery well i apologize. My girl has a MBP 9,2 And so i patchdit with OCLP and further afterinstall had gone into the efi and opened up the config plist and adjusted somethings in there which some are beneficial and others were just cosmetics. ex. unifiedmem patch i added it along with th fbmem and stolenmem and patch enable framebuffers to add the vram up to 4095 mb on her legi MBP 9,2. Now i asked someone about that UNIFIEDMEM PATCH and whether or not it is even worth anything past the 2048 mb patch meaning anything above the 2048 is purley a cosmetical thing they hhad said. BCuz i was not sure if that wasactually giving 4gb of vram and i never could get it to go highe than the4095 mb and every time i would add a valuegeneratedfromthe calc section in hackintool for say5g or 6 6144 being 00001800 or whatever i would get kernal panics so i gave up and i had the smeresults ona coffeelake i3 8100t as well whentrying to ventue above the 4095 mb range using tat unifiedmem patch. The only reason i was entertaining it was becaus i read that intel allcocates available system memory to the vram as needed so i thought well hell if i got all this ram then why not try and allocate8gb of vram if i could and make tose damn chess pieces come to life wheim playing online. But yeah i got confused or didnt communicate very well. My name is rick nice to met ya take care. If you have any ideaon the vram scenario i was talkiabut then please share your thoughts for as of now im doing the vraam thig only as entertainment bcuz the person who informed methat it waspurley cosmetics after 2048 mb is extemley reputable source on such topics so ive just kinda given up on it for now. peace out bro

You know im not really sure why that is happening. I would recommend to use a SSD for a bootloader to do the installation with. Ever sense I started using the SSD in place of my USB drive I havent had any boot problems at all hardly except the occassional overllok or admittance of a kext or something silly like that. But also its super fast when using it to be the installer instead of USB. Give it a try and tell me what you think Members 0 6 posts Posted just now You know im not really sure why that is happening. im sorry bro i was talking to you. my badd ! i should have been more clear about that ebaymic im sorry bro i was talking to you. my badd ! i should have been more clear about that and i had atypo when i said i took refernce fromm non vanilla way. i meant the reference was from non-vanilla-way Ok i see what your sayin. It makes perfect sense now. Out of curiosity what about PM? Are you able to use the SSDT PLUG or do you still be bound to the SSDT-PM from Piker Alpha bcuz of the ivy bridge setup concerning PM Compatibility.

hAve you tryed maldons solution above? I would use opencore as a bootloader instead of clover. Thats a personal preference only

i had a question you say you have a Ivy Bridge Processor but your using a MacBookPro 13,3 as a smbios and thata it was working fine and then now your usina smbios on imac17,1 which is skylake. Now for graphics acceleration i have always used "framebuffer-unifiedmem" "data" "0000F0FF" for 4095MB or "000000C0"for 3072MB or "00000080" 2048MB or the regular value being 1536MB I would use "00000060". I can adjust it without issues. However i truly cant say that there is much of a performance increase past 2048. If there is its really hard to see. I havent benchmarked it so im not sure. But you can scale your VRAM upp and down with that patch from WEG. My question though is on SMBios I thougt you were supposed to use the smbios that was the closet to your hardware as possible for best results? Your saying someting entirely different so what i was wondering is am I wrong about my assumption of SMBios selection? Iunderstand that you can load up a different smbIOS at will but would you mind explaining to me your thinking onhow your approaching this!? Bcuz if im wrong and there is a better way to go about it then what ive been doing I would like to know. Bcuz i have 3 to 4 machines that i regularly hackintosh on and the best performance ive gotten is off the dell 3060 with i38100t in it but ive limited myself to the smbios closest to that which i did run imac17,1 and it worked ok i did that based on the sockets are the same for the 15 6600 and the 138100 but there not interchangeable meaning i cant put my coffee lake in my dell AIO 7440 that has the 15 6600 ,,it will fit but it wont work even though its the same socket size. So i was wondering what your take is on that. concerning the SMBios selection on say Dell e6430 which is ivy bridge hd 4000 i mean i use mbp 9,2 10,2 MM 6,2 {MBA6,2 if wanting to use big sur} imac ive not been using bcuz there is a dGPU and IGPU and im only using macines with a igpu. -wegnoegpu is wat you would use if you were usingg a imac smbios bcuz macos expects a dgpu to be present at all times on imac whereas one handles computing tasks and the other is used to individually power a display. that reference there was from non-vanilla-way. But anyways if you get some time hit me back and tell me your approach oin the matter and if im doing things wrong on my end . I would appreciate it https://imgur.com/WaoDLlA. here is a link to a screenshot of what i was talking about oh and the GA im speaking about works in monterey as well if you have a supported system. If you dont and require the patch for the hd 4000 it will work once your system is patched. but not as a original patchin solution. as is in the othercases

Try the method i posted about imessage it may help you. Generate yoiur serial copy it to system serial number and then copy paste it to your board serial and then add 5 random letters numbers to the end ofyour board serial making it = 17 letters numbers all together. then generate a new system uuid with terminal or occ whichever. Once generated copy it to your system uuid and thn take the last 12 digits in that system uuid and copy it to your ROM. Now reboot and try and login. I assume that you know ethernet is to say en0 and built in

To get iMessage and/or Facetime working on your Hackintosh follow the simple steps below and You should have no problem. Note: This method has been tested with a valid Apple ID, meaning that You have used your Apple ID somewhere and logged into AppStore or iCloud etc. Note: I have not tested this with the creation of a New Apple ID, perhaps I or someone can give that a try and Report back. Anyway this is really simple and even if you have been given "the customer code" dont worry because that doesnt matter. A ll thats trying to tell You is that the Serial number that You are using has not been registered with imessage/facetime and that You need to call Apple and provide them the code. Now if You want to go ahead and call em but You dont have too. All im going to do is show You how I myself get this to work for me and ive tested it on numerous machines and have verified it to be working. So lets go ahead and jump right in and see how this turns out for you. PREREQUISITES:__MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THESE ALREADY DONE BEFORE PROCEEDING {1} Ethernet Connection must be "en0" and must say "built-in" {2} SMBios: "Just try and match it as close as You can to he hardware on your PC" Thats it for the prerequisites so when you have that proceed to follow my instructions below You can use Open Core Configurator or Clover Configurator or GenSMBios{credit:CorpNewt} to generate your serial number. The choice is Yours. i Will use GenSMBios by CorpNewt. And The macOS Terminal for UUID generation. STEP 1)Download and Run OCC and once finished with the Download open up OCC gravitate to Your EFI Folder and open up your config.plist. Scroll down to Platform info and pick Your SMBios Version that You will use. Me i, gonna pick "macOS Mojave " "MacBOOKpro10,2 You can pick anything You like" 1}Use OCC or other generator of your choice A}Generate Serial Number using OCC and goto Apple check coverage and make sure it returns a invalid link B}Copy Paste Serial Number you just generated to "Board SerIAL Number" Add Five Random Letters to the emd of it to Equal 17 letters and numbers C)You will have a generated System uuid as well Now copy the last twelve digits of this Systen UUID now Copy paste those 12 digits into your ROM. Thats it! Just make sure to put all this info in your config.plist folder on the SSD or USB Your gonna Use to Boot. I prefer SSD for installs just bcuz of the speed alome. Any questions or concerns
