Post a System Info screenshot. Are you talking about ethernet or wifi? Maybe it's USB, use Windows to identify it.

Just type, it appears at the lower left corner. You can also take org.chameleon.Boot.plist from Preboot.dmg and drop it into /Extra.

Try typing "GraphicsEnabler=yes", it was default in Preboot.dmg.

You can remove Preboot.dmg, make a backup just in case. Make sure you put all kexts from mkext (except trackpad, of course) in /S/L/E.

What topic are you talking about? Make sure you boot from installer drive and not from your 10.6.8 partition. What's the Chameleon version? After removing video kexts, boot with "GraphicsEnabler=No -f" (-f lowercase). Post a picture of the screen.

If you are booting from USB you must remove /Extra/Preboot.dmg because it contains an Extensions.mkext with a trackpad kext. Put all needed kexts in /S/L/E. Preboot content is listed here http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1627
