I can't give an opinion since I never used this mobo or chipset myself. On the mobos I tested, one DSDT patch or another is always needed.

I believe one thing has no relation with other. Depending on what you wish, you can run a hackintosh without a patched DSDT, no matter if your mobo has UEFI BIOS or not.
