A legitimate site will have the link plus all the ad links. The link provided has no link to any files at all.

The version I'm trying to get working is for Beta 2.

Also, I am working with Bios version 2002. The 3000 version broke the install completely, so I went back.

In my case .dmg mounted is disk5 and my NVME is disk1

*mounted .dmg have 120 gb*

If i running macOS Catalina already with Clover! and i want Big Sur. Won't doing this for these steps erase the EFI partition in your macOS messing it up? Please be clear I want Big Sur but clean install

You may have to change the uia_exclude=HS01,HS02 entry under Boot arguments to disable your unneeded USB ports. Figure that out using Hackintool. I don't use HS01 and HS02 ports. Delete them if you want.

Okay. I was able to download your EFI.

It is getting further, but still getting stuck. I tried changing the config file, using different drivers, or kexts, different Mac models, nothing helped.

It's now stopping at IOUSBHost Interface.

This Asus Prime A X299 is different than other motherboards. The EVGA X299 Micro was much easier to get working with 10.13, 10.14 and 10.15. I tried updating the bios to 3006 and it brick walled all the systems, as it couldn't even load the clover boot loader. I might try it with this new version and see what happens.

If I may ask, where did you find the EFI you're using?

Did the update with the stock OC pre-made Efi and it works, no usb just from system pref pane and then when it all loaded I put my refi folder back, restarted and beta 3 is working. I see that Apple fixed the bug in time settings and it seems so much faster and smoother as well.

hello ! thanks for your fantastic job..But , most of guides are for laptop.. and I have this desktop:

ASUS G11-CD   

i5 / 7400

Mob:  H110-M. RAM : 8 GB

(GC: nvidia 1050 no works) 

1/. Catalina  works perfectly in my SSDs external or internal..

BigSur beta3 works only on external drive AND OpenCore...

Impossible to access to my BigSur when I connect my external SSD in internal... 

Impossible to install ( from Olarila image of BigSur..) on internal HDD/SDD , because when I am on the first window  , disk utility don't show any internal drive !! ?? 

2/ If BS works on external , it's only by booting from OPENCORE , I spend days to create a EFI with CLOVER ( following all your guides...) ..!! I follow your guide  but nothing works....may be some drivers are missed or wrong , may be some kexts are too old or for OC .. Could you help me ?? THANKS

So I have the Asus MSI H110m Pro VH Mobo, I am booting Big Sur Beta 3 from a 4g internal Hard drive. I created a vanilla usb installer and then from my Catalina I formatted the drive and installed BS onto the new drive. I used the methods from this post below and the pre-made Open Core efi from here and it works. Use the sudo instructions to create your own bootable usb don't download the image it gives issues.

@MaLd0n Tô usando o Catalina com o Clover, e tô com duvida em duas coisas:

1 - No caso da atualização para o Big Sur, preciso atualizar a pasta EFI pra que seja compativel?

2 - Estou usando os bootargs: dart=0 -wegnoegpu alcid=66, sei que tem que adicionar também o -lilubetaall. Mas, existe mais algum bootarg necessário pra que o boot da instalação do Big Sur corra bem?

Hi @MaLd0n, I downloaded the beta 3 dmg and proceeded the installation. But when I mount the dmg I dont see the EFI partition. Still I tried to restore it, but I don't see the EFI partition after restore in the ssd as well. Attached the diskutil list screen shot.

Disk3 is my internal SSD to which i am going to restore.

Disk4 is the dmg which i downloaded. 

Disk0 is the Catalina OS on which I am trying the restore method
