Hardware Video encoding using iGPU doesn't work after green screen on YouTube in Chrome

My system configuration:

  • Processor - i9 9900K overclocked to 5GHz
  • Motherboard - Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master
  • RAM - 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @2400 MHz
  • iGPU - intel UHD 630 Graphics configured as headless
  • dGPU - Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon 5700XT 8GB
  • OS - MacOS Monterey 12.6.2

Recently I was watching a video on YouTube in the Chrome browser. I don't use Chrome as my default browser, but I have this weird graphics glitch where the video pixelates intermittently, and it was happening a lot in this particular video so I decided to open the same URL in Chrome. Now the video played all right for a while, and then suddenly, there was just a green box where the video should have been. The audio continued to play without any problems. I was also getting green screens on video in Firefox and Safari, so I decided to reboot the machine.

After that, I don't have igpu support in video encoding. While VideoProc Converter shows that acceleration is fully enabled and working, I suspect it is showing my 5700XT, rather than the igpu. I don't know how it has suddenly stopped, whereas everything was working fully fine earlier. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
