If you had voodoohda or patched AppleHDA in S/L/E (or installed using kext utility) you must remove them or revert to vanilla AppleHDA. If the above are all in order, you can try previous releases of AppleALC prior release 1.3.0. This is true for me in Sierra where release after 1.3.0 did not work. it helps to repair permissions and cache. Let me know your progress. PS: Use DSDT attached and check brightness hot keys if its working. DSDT.aml.zip EDIT: Your laptop need not use USBInjectall.kext. You can remove it.
