    I need a DSDT for a laptop to be patched to run macOS Catalina 10.15.4. I have the Dell Inspiron 7548 w/ Intel i5 5200U and 16GB of RAM, 500 SSD. I decided to generate DSDT table using the clover F4 option. I haven't touched them. I already installed macOS Catalina on this laptop but without DSDT and nothing works of course. originalinspiron7548.zip

    hello everyone I have a intel 9400F processor with an Asus Z390 Plus Wifi, and I need to patch my DSDT. I obtain these DSDT from pressing F4 in the Clover bootloader. thank you kenz390plusDSDT.zip

    I have tried everything to no avail, reason I created a post was to get some assistance, I have no been able to upgrade my os, my wife’s laptop which has ivy bridge board has been able upgrade w/o issue, this whole Framebuffer thing is troubling me, did the Hackintool thing but didn’t work. Unless I did something wrong

    I did everything instructed in the link but same thing happens, system loads into macOS 10.14.3 without a problem but when I run the update and it restarts same problem occurs, I can't seem to run the update without it panicking.

    I need help, this has been bugging me since the longest, I can't update my fully working Mojave 10.14.3 install to 10.14.6 as it gets stuck, and the messages says panic on FB memory manager......AppleintelGraphicsframebuffer need help please thanks

    Funny thing is that I have a similar system and everything works, my wife uses a Toshiba satellite s855-s5381 and I got everything to work, if anybody could point me to the right direction, it seems odd though thanks Mald0n for your work.

    I searched my DSDT, and yes it has PNLF

    I beg to differ, from what I’ve read is probable related to backlight & or brightness implementation in the DSDT file, which I beg for you to take another look, I’m going to apply the patch you suggested for usb speeds as soon as I get home.

    Thanks, although that might fix the USB problem, I still have the problem of sleep, it wakes up but the screen stays black and the fan spins up louder until a do a force restart.

    I have a somewhat fully working system, thanks to Mald0n but a few things need to be fix which is sleep, and slow usb 3 w/ macOS 10.14.4

    damn Mald0n, you can sure make someone feel like a programmer, most of this stuff went right over my head. I will use that MaciASL from now on. but I already fix sound just by using config.plist. the only thing that I need your help on brother, so I can leave you alone for a while is just sleep. like I said it goes to sleep but when I wake it up the screen stays dark but I think the laptop is not functional at that point. thanks, this is a great site props for all of you guys that make it possible, been messing with Hackintosh since my teens years, is a culture for me.

    thank you onemanosx, I appreciate your input. and I'm just reporting back to say that I was able to get sound & mic to work, by going into config file and in devices > properties specifying the layout-id 12 restarted the laptop and boom!! it was working. the only thing that I can see that is left to be fixed is sleep. it goes to sleep and when I wake it up the screen remains dark, but I don't think the laptop is functional at that point.

    thank you Mald0n, wifi has been resolved with the FAKEPCIID_BROADCOM...KEXT when I check my DSDT I don't see those values that you highlighted, and by changing alc-layout-id you mean the first value 0x01?? or the whole thing 0x01, 0x00 0x00 0x00 ? I don't know how to do these things. this sound thing is becoming a pain. another thing, when I edit my DSDT with maciasl and I save it. when I open again the changes that I did does not appear. what's up with that, am I doing something wrong. also sleep is still not resolved, goes to sleep with wakes up with black screen.

    How do you change alc-layout-id, are you referring to using config.plist, or this another method. And also how do I activate my WiFi & Bluetooth combo card? BCM943225hmb?

    Isn’t that Kext Incharge of my HDD to be visible, b/c I was having issues with my hdd being visible

    Mald0n, I know I have to get help from mir0n for audio, but I read an article that suggests that for my IDT 92HD91BXX audio chipset I should set the "layout-id", Buffer() {12, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00} where 12 is replace with 84 in the DSDT and also in the config.plst. also I installed a new wifi & bluetooth combo card to my laptop is called BCM943225HMB wireless wifi 300m N, can you edit my DSDT to include this wifi card, because when I boot, it only recognizes the bluetooth and not fully. thanks this is my clover folder https://mega.nz/#!0kEEHYQJ!zr1GC0yxEpzgV5ZJvDl2GcoeuIPgrlqBiJvo9B27PA8 in the the origin folder you'll find newly generated DSDT files also 3/5 times when I start the laptop I get a "error allocation 0x10ac6". don't know why I get that error, can you help me fix it please thanks in advance

    I tried all the layout Id, I also changed the layout id in device\properties in the config to no avail. This is really concerning me because I don’t know why this is happening
