    Hi guys, I've found a PC with an Intel Core i3 6100 in my house, I would like to hackintosh it although the motherboard has died, does anyone know where to buy a not very expensive motherboard for this purpose? Thanks in advance

    Are you using Clover or OpenCore? And you are trying to install Catalina, right? Check if you have injected intel graphics or ATI or nvidia option enabled. If yes, disable it because you GPU is natively compatible.

    Well, I'm not sure about the clover version (because I used OpenCore mainly), when I installed macOS Catalina I used the EFI which was in the premade image and then I modified it with kexts to make some things work. You can try using the Opencore EFI in the GitHub link I shared with you and see if it works on catalina, if it does please tell me and I can add the compatibility in my repository.

    Hi, I could install macOS Monterey in the same motherboard but with different CPU and GPU. Check my GitHub repository and see if it can help you. https://github.com/ru379/BigSur-Monterey-on-Clarkdale Edit: If you install macOS Catalina instead of Monterey, it's much more easy to make it work I spent lots of hours making my hackintosh work with Monterey.

    I was right, doc and menu bar are not transparent and also animations are a bit laggy. I tried with Catalina now I will try with Mojave and see if it works better.

    You mean the legacy video patch right? I read it and it says that my GPU won't have full QE/CI does it mean that for example the dock will not be transparent?

    Hi, I installed macOS Monterey on an old hardware, all works, ethernet, graphics, usb, but when I try to enable audio with applealc kext and alcid=1 argument, it doesn't work. My hardware is: i5-540, 8gb of ram, 500gb hdd, nvidia geforce gt 710 and Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 rev. 1.0 with ALC888B codec. I tried other layout ids and same result. On system preferences doesn't appear any sound device. I tried to fix HDMI sound with SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0.aml and HDMIAudio.kext to conect my hedset to my monitor but same result, please help and thanks in advance. Edit: audio works on Catalina and Big Sur EFI.zip

    Sorry for the late reply. I can boot into the installer but when the installer restarts and appears the apple logo and the time remaining to finish the installation, it gets stuck a while at “less than a minute remaining” after that it appears a window with the following text: An error occurred applying the software update. Please help me. P.S. I changed to clover because I couldn’t boot to the installer, in a while I will atach my EFI folder. Link to EFI folder: https://easyupload.io/u702sn

    Please I want dsdt patch for this extracted dsdt, I'm stuck at "less than a minute remaining" installing macOS Big Sur with clover and I read that it coukd be fixed with dsdt patches.     Doesn't matter the time, I'm trying to install on i3 540 8gb ddr3 1333mhz quad channel 120gb ssd Nvidia GeForce GT 710 1GB DDR3 Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 Motherboard I tried to reset the bios and the nvram but same results, also changed my smbios to MacPro6,1 the guide that I followed says that this recommended smbios for my cpu (clarkdale) It booted I don't know why, but I was going to select my lenguaje and my mouse and keyboard stoped working but the RGB lights continue on Ok the problem is that the installer gets freeze, is not the keyboard or the mouse

    Thank you so much, it works It booted but get stuck on the apple logo with the bar filling up. I mean, it booted in verbose but when the animation of the bar filling up appears, the animation gets freeze.
