OK I've been working on 2 ThinkPads -- 3 actually; 2 E531's and an L530. While applying this method on the L530 to make the USB ports accept USB sticks. I discovered that the battery icon up in the notification tray disappeared after reboot. But all the USB ports worked correctly. I think the battery is also controlled on/by the USB bus. Can anyone provide some more insight?

Thanks for all your time, and consideration.

After mapping the ports, my USB3 ports can't recognize USB2 devices, how can I fix it?

And for some reason I can't see the USBPorts.kext loading in kextstat, is it normal?

(Z490-UD / Clover/ Catalina)

if dont work, stay with usb injectall and use ssdt-uiac instead usbports.kext

If USB C port has both HS06/SS06 (same orientation), should I use “TypeC+Sw” for both or using it for SS06 is enough?

HS06 is only for usb 2 device, i think dont exist usb-c usb 2. u can kill this port

ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 / Intel i9-9900K / Also trying to get Fenvi T919 Bluetooth (WiFI is OK) to work wired to USB 2.0 header on motherboard. I've reinstalled everything and it's booting. I'd like to get Hackintool to recognize my Intel Generation instead of ???, then figure out why it's not highlighting my active USB ports so I can actually map them and get my ports right and my bluetooth working again. Thanks!

just add USBInjectAll.kext / XHCI-unsupported.kext

reboot and start remap

if ur mobo have integrated wifi/bt intel, u need disable this usb port, common is HS14
