ktorres08 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Hi! I created a USB installer using the guides on this site. My PC boots into Clover just fine, but freezes when I try to install Mohave (I get the white Do Not Enter sign over all of the white text on black screen). A friend gave me an EFI folder to use with my build, and told me to replace the EFI folder in my USB installer with hers. Windows won't let me make changes to EFI folder though. I used Minitool Partition Wizard to mount the EFI and assign a letter, and Explorer++ to access the folder (as an Administrator). But whenever I try to make any changes to EFI folder, Windows tells me that I don't have any permissions and to edit permissions in Security tab. Only problem is, when I go into the EFI folder's Properties, there IS no Security tab. I've tried this in Windows 7 and Windows 10. The EFI partition is FAT32 (which is the way Olarila/Etcher made it). Any ideas on what I should do? Thanks!
