I'm having this issue too! I've tried the fixes you've mentioned as well as waiting 20+ minutes with no joy. I've literally tried 20+ ways to make this thing work and I can't seem to figure it out.

faced similar lines, waited around 45min enjoying Ragnarok BGMs til I got back and found the mac installer window is opened so it can proceed to installing the os.

I was on the same lines.
Display goes black turn off types. CPU RGB, Keyboard and Mouse lights are still working. Basically system is on and only screen is off. What to do please suggest.
