Hi, I need help.

I'm trying to inject my graphics into the DSDT, for that I used the code of a VAIO with a GeForce 310M which has the same PEGP device as my PC.

But at the time of compiling it tells me that there are objects that do not exist, I do not know if I should create them or look in the DSDT for some that are similar.

I am new, so all the help will be very well received, I attach the tables of the PC with the 310M and my PC and also a capture of the error.

Thank you.

The main patch of 310M is in _SB.PCI0.PEGP of the .zip that I attached (310M Full Injection). In my DSDT 410M it is in _SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP.

I do not know if it is the only way to inject the graphics, because although it works well, it does not stop turning off or restarting, HDMI does not work, and the color depth is 24 bits, thanks for your help.

The problem is the objects that do not exist, I'm going to attach the .dsl with the patch already applied so you look at the errors. I suppose I must create them, which would be very complicated, or look for others that do exist and can be replaced ... thanks for your help.

I have managed to solve the problem by injecting the DSDT of an English version of my laptop.

Now the problem that I have is with EDID, I have managed to inject it into Display/Overrides, but it still shows 24 bits deep color, in addition to a bug in the cursor and it does not stop turning off or restarting.

I attached new DSDT, folder with the patch and .ioreg.

Thanks for your help.

After trying several days (and performing all kinds of procedures), I was finally able to solve it.

Almost all graphics problems (HDMI, brightness control available ...) were solved via DSDT, SSDT and using iMac definition 14,2. The color depth was fixed with FixEDID, using the MacBook Air Retina preset.

The only problem that I present is brightness control, although it is available, it does not work when moving the slider, and every time I restart my laptop NVIDIA Web Driver changes to integrated graphics, so I have to activate them every time I turn it on.

Thank you very much for your help, I will soon make a donation to the page.

It did not work, I think I should patch AppleBacklight.kext, I will try it and I will tell you if it works.

I have another problem that I have not been able to solve, it is the cursor bug, I realized that it was not a screen problem, it is from Sierra and High Sierra.

In El Capitan it worked well, so I do not know if it is an internal bug or should patch in Clover "9MB Cursor Bytes", which is what I read could solve that problem.

Thanks for your help.

Hello again, I have done a clean installation with DSDT patches and files on this page, obviously everything works better, but graphics still have problems, so I would like to solve one by one.

1. Backlight

I have managed to load macOS AppleBacklightDisplay instead of AppleDisplay, but brightness control does not appear in settings, I guess it is a lack of kexts that inject backlight, but since the 10.12.4 it seems that they do not work, so I tried AppleBacklightFixUp of Rehabman, but not It worked, I guess because I have NVIDIA and not Intel.

Thk u.
