Hi @MaLd0n I have bad news: my Hackintosh keeps rebooting, but only with Final Cut. I have another Hackintosh that works perfectly, so I installed the same version of Final Cut on this Hackintosh, and it still keeps rebooting. I don't know where the problem is, but I'm going crazy. I hope you can help me. OBRIGADO! Reeboot FCX 10.6.10.rtf.zip

Hi @MaLd0n I just updated the KEXTS following the guide you linked. I did it without selecting the DEV option because I wasn't entirely sure when to use it with that option. The KEXTS have been updated correctly. But although the computer doesn't restart now (the little I've tested), the screen does go black (shut down) and everything closes. It's as if my session is closed, and when I log in, the programs that are running appear open without any tasks. It's very strange. Also, just today, looking at the Activity Monitor, I saw the "WindowsServer" activity, and it's permanently at +/- 15% CPU load. I was amazed by a process called WindowsServer, which if I close it, my OSX session closes. It was also the cause of the latest crash, which is why I discovered the "WindowsServer" process. I'm attaching the crash report. Is this process called "WindowsServer" normal? The program that's been crashing the most is Wondershare Uniconverter (https://videoconverter.wondershare.net). I use version 13. It's a program that sets the CPU to 90% and maintains stable temperatures of 70/80°C maximum. I'm quite desperate because I can't work with it. Any other solutions? OBRIGADO!

Thanks for responding so quickly @MaLd0n Supposedly I copied the entire EFI folder from the EFI partition, installed the new OSX and after the installation replaced the entire EFI folder from my old OSX. Should the new OSX installation be perfectly configured for my computer? Thanks a lot and good job.

Can you guide me? I want to at least upgrade to OSX Ventura if possible, especially for the wifi issue. Obrigado.

Hello @MaLd0n Is it possible to install OSX SONOMA on this laptop and have everything work correctly (except the Nvidia graphics card)? Or what would be the most recent OSX that this laptop supports? Right now I have it on BigSur and I would like to be able to update it as much as possible. The only information I found about this laptop model is the following: https://github.com/cobaohieu/ASUS-K55VD-HACKINTOSH Thanks.

Hello, Is there any reliable information on whether Apple will support AMD graphics cards from the 7000 series? Seeing that the 6000 series (depending on the model) are already difficult to find new and their prices are prohibitive. Thanks.

Wifi Broadcom on macOS Sonoma and Sequoia Hackintosh with OCLP
cachiputi replied to MaLd0n's topic in Guides and Tutorials
Hi @MaLd0n In this .ZIP there are not the 4 KEXTS needed, you have put the one from LILU and another one that has nothing to do with it, check it when you can. I just did it in OSX Sonoma and it works. Thank you very much for your tutorials, simple, detailed and with photos. 10/10 OBRIGADO!! -

Hello @MaLd0n I'm reading the forum about Broadcom WiFi cards with OSX SONOMA. My card is this one: BCM4360 Is it necessary to disable SIP and such for these cards to work in SONOMA? I've read on the internet that it's not recommended to disable SIP and such things on Mac for security reasons. What other option is available to have a WiFi card that works natively in OSX Sonoma (with Blutooth if possible)? Another question I have, is it necessary to patch the USB in OSX Sonoma? Thanks.

Hello @MaLd0n It's funny, but I've encountered another "problem" that I don't think I've ever had. The NVME doesn't have an EFI partition, and since it doesn't have one, I can't do anything. Is this normal? I've reformatted the NVME again with a GUID partition map and APFS format in case I did something wrong the first time. But nothing, it doesn't have an EFI partition. How do I fix it? OBRIGADO EDIT: Now yes, I have continued testing until the disk utility has created the EFI partition.

I already have OSX Sonoma installed on the NVME 990 Pro It's been a while since I updated my Hackintosh. Now do I have to mount the EFI partition on the NVME and replace the EFI folder with this one? -Desktop CometLake Download HERE Same as I had to do with the OSX Installer USB, right? Obrigado @MaLd0n
