    You can also try to disable GPI0 device completely while in polling mode and test the kext again. Scope (_SB.PCI0.GPI0) { Method (_STA, 0, NotSerialized) // _STA: Status { Return (Zero) } } And you are right about being an experimental build. New debug files are always useful. This needs to be looked into as the boot args has no relation to kext load.

    The reason why I2C trackpad doesnt work. This is too obvious isnt it? You can delete the plugins of VoodooPS2Controller leaving only the keyboard plugin. Looks like the PS2Controller plugin is interfering with I2C. Also, if you are on Catalina, make sure you have EC0/H_EC/ECDV to EC rename enabled in Clover ACPI patch.     Does polling mode work? Your ACPI has native variables that has the method for a valid bus config. So the code just makes use of that. Added in 5 minutes 55 seconds: No I2C kext loaded.

    At this rate, I don't have anymore suggestions other than a fresh install over a formatted drive. Thereafter attempt to boot from HDD before any post installation troubleshooting.

    [ref]skystar777[/ref], I would suggest making a new USB image and try again. At this point, I am out of ideas. Also, you might want to check for Bios updates if any or look into the bios setup

    If this is the case, edit DSDT to polling mode instead of interrupt mode. You can continue to use VoodooI2CHID. You can also experiment with other pins in interrupt mode. The high CPU usage might come from using interrupt mode in I2C.

    [ref]user748832[/ref], Your I2C device is fully loaded. Remove VoodooI2CHID kext. Only use VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CELAN kexts.     Pretty sure kext from Mountain Lion is outdated to be used on a newer OS such as High Sierra. Then kext might not be the problem here.. Have you tried with boot arg -x?

    The decimals are 82 and 53 for hexadecimal 0x6e thereby giving pins of 0x52 and 0x35 respectively.

    You might need to play around with the ACPI/kernel patchings in clover and see which works. Cant suggest any further than this.

    I see no problem here, so are the options ticked or unticked? I think clover has its implementation opposite i.e ticked means its disabled ( or was it the other way round?) Did you use config2.plist or the default config.plist? For laptops, its config2.plist

    Did you activate the rename according to your ACPI table? Which OS are you installing and are you using Olarila's image?

    You are to refer to CannonPointLP IRQ table In normal circumstance, a native GPI0pin requires no modification. Your Elan device most likely will work with a different satellite i.e VoodooI2CELAN
