No idea what you did. But, your patch is definitely not working for the battery status.

The guides are written to be simplistic. Please read and try for yourself first. At least, brightness hotkeys are the simplest to tackle.

Looks like AppleALC Kext is not loaded. Please check if all kexts are updated and recent. And while you are at it, update to latest version of clover too. https://imgur.com/vfIzP1F

[ref]A-D-H-I[/ref], As a start, you can install VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID kexts in clover/kexts/other. And add Coolstar's KextToPatch to disable Apple's I2C device. Please read post 1. Having done the above, reboot and extract new sendme files.
-
you need to add your trackpad device name in synaptic kext. And you also need to patch your _Crs return correctly Added in 30 minutes 54 seconds: You have had multiple OSI patches but did not patch the latest. Only latest OSI emulation. https://imgur.com/rRgO2Gq DSDT.aml.zip

Read here on how to get battery status working https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=71158#p71158 You only need VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CSynaptics kexts. Remove all other voodooI2C kexts. Your _CRS patching is wrong. Change it back to native and try again. Please read post 1.

[ref]ahmedgamal09[/ref], Your DSDT is not patched to use interrupt mode. Find TPAD device in DSDT and change _CRS method to Return (ConcatenateResTemplate (SBFB, SBFG)) as per the guide. Make sure to read post 1, too. Its also worth a try to static patch Windows emulation to recent version rather than Windows 10.

Is your battery status working? Track pad preference will not show if battery status is not working. Please attach sendme files.

[Guide] - Brightness Hotkey Remapping
onemanosx replied to onemanosx's topic in Guides and Tutorials
[ref]rositaott[/ref], what is the EC method for Fn+F12 & Fn+Pause/Break keys? Assuming they are _Q47 and _Q45, you could possibly try disabling by renaming them. Not too sure if it'll work though. But its worth a shot. -
1. You did not install I2C kexts 2. You did not use a patched DSDT 3. You did not implement kext to patch for I2C in config.plist. Please read post 1 again.

Like I had mentioned, it is possible to find the EC method of the old hotkeys using debug method then disable it via DSDT. Is this a DELL laptop, too? -

I didnt check for your other settings but good job on your battery patching! Congrats! Added in 39 seconds: -
LOL! You can easily disable the touchscreen by renaming _CRS to XCRS for TPL1 (assuming TPL1 is your touchscreen). You can do this either in DSDT or Clover hotpatch.

[Guide] Laptop Battery Indicator - The DSDT Patching Horror
onemanosx replied to onemanosx's topic in Guides and Tutorials
If you are still using your old laptop, I had established that your DSDT need no further patching. Here is the post https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=71249#p71249 Added in 11 minutes 54 seconds: You need to enable H_EC to EC patch in clover. If you have a patched DSDT, you should place it in Clover/ACPI/Patched folder. It also looks like you need I2C patch in your clover. Added in 9 minutes 35 seconds: [ref]SemoB[/ref], Can you show the patches in txt file instead? I just did a quick look and found you did not patch for CYCN. You might want to check your work again and be extra attentive. -
