No idea what VoodooI2CAtmelMXT.kext does. You should read I2C documentation and determine if your device is Elan, FTE, HID or Synaptics - https://github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C Try my last attempt for your working battery Wizzard - DSDT - 03.aml.zip -
Yes. 0x01 is Hex for Decimal value of 1 (meaning: it is set for layout id 1). You should try for all layout id available fro your specific codec.

You did not have patched DSDT in clover/acpi/patched folder. Neither do you have any battery kext in your clover/kexts other folder. Cant expect things to work without these 2 items. -

no compile errors doesnt mean patch is done correctly. I cant help if you wont share what exactly you did. Maybe you can share your 16 bit integers and how you solved them. -

No idea. For a start you can upload a full dump using run.me app and try to explain in steps what you did. -
Because some patches like i2c trackpad devices, audio, battery, power management (for some devices), custom USB ssdt/ clover boot arguments and graphics requires individual users intervention or troubleshoot hence this thread cannot encompass everything. You should inquire on specific thread for specific problems or open a new thread so other users may assist. Anyway, Maldon is already busy as is with this thread as you may already noticed.

if your notebook is not in the list, you will then need to do your own custom patch -
[ref]xenatt[/ref], I am afraid the boot arguments only works for xhc devices. For USB hubs, perhaps this tip is able to help you achieve eliminating unused ports for EHC1/EHC2 devices. http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=69016#p69016

[ref]steezy[/ref], You might want to look into your SSDT file where the battery patch is implemented. Try deleting that battery patch and see if battery indicator works. Open a new topic if you still has issues.
