  1. Hi Guys, I was wondering if someone can help me reach a stable 5.1/5.2 GHz on my liquid-cooled (CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240L) i9 9900K? I do have a rudimentatry OC going, but I don't think it's stable, as Geekbench and Cinebench crash the machine when they run. I followed this guide to reach where I am. I find that it gives me the right balance of power, when I need it, and efficiency, when I am not doing anything demanding.
  2. @MaLd0n My apologies, you are correct, as always! I am now able to see (with the exception of one - a WD My Passport Wireless Pro) USB 3 devices when connected. My issue now is that my Broadcom BRCM20702 Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hub is not connecting to my Bluetooth mouse anymore. Wi-Fi seems to be doing fine. I'm attaching my ioreg file for you to have a look. Please help... ioreg-file.rar
  3. Thanks @MaLd0n I'll try it out and let you know how it goes... UPDATE: I tried it but apparently the USB3 ports need power from the USB2 as well, to power USB3 drives, so they didn't work. I wanted to basically activate ALL my USB3 ports, and ONLY the USB2 that I need, and still stay within the 15-port limit set by Mac OS. Wishful thinking!
  4. Hey @MaLd0n, what if we only activate the USB2 component (say, HSXX) for each USB2 port and JUST the USB3 component (for example, SSXX) for each USB3 port? Will that allow the USB3 ports to still function as USB3 (even if without any USB2 functionality), or will it cause problems? Thanks
  5. Hey @MaLd0n Thanks for this amazing forum, and all the good work you are doing to help Hackintoshers worldwide. I am facing a problem, trying to help a friend install Catalina with your EFI folder (EFI OpenCore Serie 300.400.zip). His hardware is: Gigabyte Z490M Gaming X motherboard with latest F20 BIOS revision Intel i7 10700K processor Samsung 1 TB M.2 NVME drive 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200 RAM He has Windows on his machine, and he is trying the Windows method from the Dortania website, to create his installer USB. The problem is that we are (at best) able to get the USB to boot, but when we choose the installer option, we get the Apple logo with the progress bar below it, and it disappears after about 40% progress, and then the screen goes black. Nothing happens. We have tried EFI folders from other people who have successfully installed Catalina on their Z490 boards, but somehow are getting stuck at this point. We are hoping that you will be able to help us out of this problem and get Catalina installed on my friend's machine. Thanks in advance...
