    Thank you, Maldon. I have attempted to clean up renames, however your DSDT causes kp. I've attached the modified EFI. If you could have a look and tell me why the DSDT is causing KP. Also, I was not able to use your stock EFI for Kaby Notebook, it also causes KP upon installation. Thanks again.     Greetings, Maldon. I've successfully installed 10.15 Catalina on this system, however it's taking a long time to complete verbose. I have attached a picture to show you where it stops (approx. 30 seconds), then continues to boot successfully.I am using the DSDT that you patched for me for 10.13 High Sierra. Thank you, sir!     Hello, Maldon. the system reboots just prior to the desktop when using the DSDT that you patched. Boots fine when I don't use your DSDT, but I have no screen brightness control, no Trackpad control, and no battery meter. Thank you HP ElitBook 840G2 i5-5300U HD5500 High Sierra 10.13.6 UPDATE: With some SSDT patching, I am now getting full trackpad control, audio and battery status, however I am still not achieving screen brightness control.
