  11. MaLd0n, I am using macOS on a virtual machine installation to create the patch with hackintool, but the patch comes out empty. Is it possible that the tool won't generate the patch because it's running on a virtual machine?

Hi, I am following the Olarila guide for installing my hackintosh on Dell Latitude E5450 (Intel Core i7 – 5600U @ 2.6 GHz, Intel HD5500) and selecting config 2 as per the instructions for laptop installation, but I am unable to reach the installation screen. I get a screen flicker and then a kernel panic. Can someone help me with this problem? I am using the "Olarila Mojave 10.14.4 18E2034" image. Best regards.
  16. Hi MaLd0n, I understand I have to create a video patch. But how can I do that since I cannot boot from my HDD after I replaced the EFI folder with the EFI for my chipset. Can you guide me how to boot from HDD with your EFI? Best regards.
  17. Hi MaLd0n, Sorry for being so ignorant. Did exactly as you asked. edited the config.plist - still kernel panic when trying to boot. Booted from the USB installer and used the Hackintool to generate the patch after following the guide from Useful links in your signature, The generated config file was not complete. I am really lost now and don't know what to do. Can you please guide me on what to do? Current state of my hackintosh is: unable to boot after replacing the EFI folder with the one for my chipset. I can only boot from the USB installer. Please help... Best regards.

  22. OK. Where do I put the patched DSDT file and the FakePCIID? Do I have to rebuild cache and permissions? Does anything else need to be done?
