Hey, got vmware going but the gtx 1080 isnt showing up in devices. Maldon kindly disabled it to only use hawaii card for macos, maybe he killed it a bit "too well" Inside vmware, "Prefer External GPU" is unavailable. So is it possible to patch this in a way gtx 1080 can go to vmare app but wont be used by macos displayserver(?) Maldon i promised not to swap gpus again, ...., and i didnt, but bios apparently always displays on the first pcie video out it finds, so i never see my bios (minor annoyance) Send me dnas-Mac-Pro.zip

Hey, my plan was to game a little so i downloaded vmware and created an vm for windows. My plan was to pass through an GPU. But it cant run vm. Virt is enabled in bios and i restarted my computer. I also tried "parallels" but same issue. Re-check, always check.... clear-nvram seems to disable virt setting in bios, machine is working now.

I re-checked and the layout is set correctly. Im searching for a tool to take my audio stream, shave off like 50dB and then route it out of the system. Like a intermediate modification of the soundstream, EQ options would be appreciated too! I guess this is not a hackintosh question but a macOS general question.

Hey, i couldnt find this in AppleALC resources ( matching layout ). Audio works fine on my USB Interfaces, however, volume hast to be set inside playback application, no option for system sounds volume or general master volume. If i use volume scroller on my keyboard, disabled image appears. If using Built-In analog Out, volume rocker works, but coming from other os, i was always able to control volume even for USB devices. My question: is it normal macos behavior so ill live with it or can volume rocker be working for USB out? audio-controls.zip

You have igpu, if your mainboard supports it, try booting with monitor plugged into mainboard output. You maybe have to enable igpu in bios.

Hey let me drop one more bug here: When i select "shut down" it does so, but powers back up. clear NVRAM then shut down again does the trick but takes one more power cycle to shut machine down for good.

If the hashes match theres no need to re-download, the file is fine then. If etcher throws an error at the end (after validation), theres a good chance the drive will boot anyways - with a broken OS. So id recommend flashing again and closely watch the final message of etcher. If etcher says validation is fine, then its device specific and u depend on the real pros like maldon.

power button only would work fine for me, however I could not find string "prw" in config.plist nor a running process with this name. The term is also kinda short for meaningful web results. I found sudo nvram AutoBoot but I guess its for full boot not wake from sleep..

After DL, confirm Hash of downloaded file agains Hash listed on Download link list. Then, did u use etcher to burn? (Etcher confirmes written image is free of error, not all image writers do that) So u can be completely sure ur installation media is bit perfect to what's intended by uploaded file. EDIT: make sure to calc Hash on .raw file not the containing .zip. (Zip will give other Hash as result)

youre very correct i didnt test much yet but builtin keyboard, trackpad and wifi are still not working^^ I remapped ports, EFI attached below, could you work your hw-acceleration-magic again?
