Hey so I want to try one last time to get the touchscreen running. I found someone say there's a difference in having the touchscreen connected via SMBus or i2c. I could not find this information on my model. Looking at voodooi2c GitHub, it needs to be patched into DSDT. They list "MaciASL" as an option, but also admit that it's hard to do. Could you confirm my system is "wired compatibly" for touchscreen, its listed in USB(Hackintool) and as ACPIPCI(IORegExplorer) or just enable this so I can try if it works? (I thought I enabled it correctly since trackpad improved?) Archive.zip

nah, I think its all because I don't know what im doing... I fixed trackpad completely, gestures work. But Touchscreen still won't respond.
-
Hey @MaLd0n I tried again this weekend but I can't understand voodoo to where to configure it. I think this should be it could you enlighten me?
-
Youre the man! I did have duplicate VoodooInput.. However, keyboard works, trackpad moves the mouse but cant click. In the repo it says there are 4 touch modes in a „info.plist“ but i cannot find that plist. Touchscreen still doesnt work. Hey some reddit user had the same issue on the 15" version on my notebook. It can't be fixed from settings app (tap to click) but he managed to fix it using "ACPIBatteryManager" kext. However, GitHub seems kinda abandoned? Do you have a clean source of that kext? trackpad-battery-reddit.zip Oh and the battery warning mentioned Is present with my laptop as well, I just didn't valued as more important than basic functions so far

Hey @MaLd0n i installed voodooi2c kext collection which made no errors but also no improvements. Then i installed voodoops2, this cannot boot with some system info being held in console, i attached image. voodoops2 error.zip

Hey on the c connector again, from what im reading, theres a bug with my chip. They call it hotplug error which goes along with my observations, the controller sometimes does not show up when nothing connected to the port at boot. This post sums it up i think https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/in-progress-ssdt-for-thunderbolt-3-hotplug.248784/ I dont want to go with burning and replacing the chip now so lets cut this and leave it disabled for now, so ill try to fix usb device such as keyboard or trackpad I read „voodooi2c“ can fix the touchscreen but got great errors when trying it

OpenCore Auxiliary Tools - OpenCore Configurator OCAT

I downloaded it, but how to execute? -
Hey, thunderbolt progress! In BIOS, I checked "Pre-Boot Thunderbolt support" and lowered the access authentication settings and now Hackintool shows a new controller DS6340! It now also delivers power to connected iPhone or trackpad, However no data connection is made. Also, there is no Port showing up for the new device in Hackintool. thunderbolt listed.zip

usb remap ok, device doesn't work do I need a driver maybe? but supposedly this device should be supported I read usb remap missing thunderbolt.zip
-
SUCCESS! I had a faulty boot-args in plist... With sound now working, can you patch leftover USB devices? Send me dnas-MBP.zip EFI.zip
-
hey i still cant get it to work any tips?
-
boot from usb2 port if possible use uefi boot mode in laptop settings, try disable secureboot maybe post picture of error
-
sadly no improvement

Hey I really tried but couldn't do custom alcid. I googled more and I'm convinced layout 56 should work but doesn't. I found in Hackintool there is false layout id 3 shown (screenshot) after I freshly booted using 56. Can I somehow confirm correct layout has been selected? alcid56.zip hackintool audio detail.zip more detailed screenshot
-
Yes yes usb all fine Thunderbolt is dead tho. Hey can we come back to create custom ALC layout? I tried all those having a generic "Dell" remark, none works. I don't know how but maybe its possible to extract from this EFI, i don't know if its so simple he may has other dependencies?
-
Yeah that was my question, if all ports go green, should i use „uia_exclude= „ anyways? So when i do the clear the list in Hackintool and plug usb2 all is green except the 2x usb3 ss entries look at last screenshot upload shall i still add boot-arg?
-
Hey, so for audio I finally found layout 56 works What do you need for patch usb devices?
-
Yeah 0x03 us internal same as touchscreen So how shall i proceed? usb remap is fine and alc layout cant be determined
-
Hey @MaLd0n, for Audio, I found Realtek ALC256 (ALC3246) (0x0256) in Hackintool, which fits to https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/tree/master/Resources/ALC256 , However the Layouts are plenty but without further description. I tried 11, without success, and wanted to cheat with this other users plist but there is no alcid boot-arg present: https://github.com/iraniamir/xps-13-9350-Monterey-OpenCore/blob/main/OC/config.plist for USB remap, I attached screenshot, there's nothing to exclude, should I run with "empty" via_exclude string in boot args? Also in the screenshot, there's USB device called BCM and google confirms it is bluetooth. So this is why it does not work but wifi does(?) Thanks for the efforts hackintool_audio-usb_images.zip

You achieved voodoo again! Scaling is appropriate for 13 inch now and feels smoother. However, rest of hardware seems still "dead" I attached new Dump. Archive.zip
-
Hey @MaLd0n it booted when I booted without keyboard attached However, fix don't work. I attached new RunMe Log. Archive.zip
-
So i tried to find more information but it looks like this should work right? PNG image.zip
-
yes so dsdt.aml is there in the list and in efi folder so it should work? but doesn’t
