OK ... Try to keep it as simple, as I can ... Acer Aspire 7720Z - Laptop ; Mountain Lion installed on an external USB - hard-drive, because Disk Util's not detecting my internal SATA HDD (formatted as GPT, Mac OS X Extended) . When I installed the OS, the SATA drive was there, but I could not make any changes to it (I had to remove it from the laptop, and use an external SATA - USB enclosure / dock to format it) . Now, as Mountain Lion is installed on this external USB - drive I'd like to clone it to the internal drive, but the internal SATA - drive's nowhere to be found . Please HELP me OUT . (): / Toni .

Curious to know, whether this laptop is suitable for hackintosh use at all . Not sure about the specific model, though ... I know the CPU is clocking at 1.5 GHz and on board there is 6 GBs of RAM . Graphics Card is an AMD Radeon, dunno something . I could go as far back as Yosemite or even Sno Leo . Just let me know, if it's possible with this legacy hardware . / T .

Hi ... I have this ancient laptop, that I'd like to install a hackintosh OS on . The laptop is 64 Bit ready and it has 2GBs of RAM onboard, so bearing this in mind is it possible to install any version of macOS on this laptop . Could I install for example Snow Leopard on it, or would it be possible to install any of a more "modern" version of macOS on it ? / T .

Ok ... Just to get my Avid Pro Tools (latest version) working I needed to upgrade from Big Sur to Ventura ; The operation went nice and smooth, but I lost my MSI GeForce GT710 Graphics . I knew this issue would happen as I've been in the same situation in the past . So, now I'd need some help in order to get my Graphics back ... I'm about to go to Sequoia ... So, if somebody has a workaround with this in mind . I know about AMFI, SIP and Open Core Legacy Patcher, but haven't had much of a luck with patching the Graphics / Kepler ?!? About This Mac.png.zip

Hi ... I have a working Ventura - install here . What is the possibility of losing my system, if I do a software update to Sonoma ? Will I lose my working MSI GT710 Graphics or such ? When I try to boot from a USB-stick I can't even get to the GUI-part of the setup . (): In add. I have only a few GBs free on my main / system drive . Is it possible to change the location, where the temporary software update / Sonoma - download / installer files are going to be saved / stored ? / Toni .

OK ... Got Mavericks 10.9 installed ... now the only issue is how to boot without the installer USB-disk . When I try to boot from the internal SATA-drive it fails . Is it as easy as copying / pasting the efi folder from Clover on the USB-disk to the efi partition on the internal disk ? Or how can I accomplish this ? -
