Deihmos Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 If I use the keyboard to wake the laptop it sometimes starts sending random keypresses and other times the keyboard stops working. It seems to input what I last typed. I can wake fine if I just use the touchpad. I cannot wake with an external usb mouse or bluetooth mouse at all like I can on Windows. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Laptop HP ENVY 17-bw0000 i7-8550U UHD 620 Send me MacBook-Pro.zip

Deihmos Posted August 29, 2020 Author Posted August 29, 2020 (edited) Can you tell me where this is? Do I search the DDST.aml? Any idea what could be causing the issue with waking from the PS2 keycoard? Turns out the issue with PS2keyboard is a hardware bug. Edited August 29, 2020 by Deihmos

Deihmos Posted August 29, 2020 Author Posted August 29, 2020 Thanks I got it. Issue with the keyboard is a hardware bug. There is nothing I can do unless someone comes up with a patch. Now I can wake with the mouse it shouldn’t be an issue. 1
Deihmos Posted August 30, 2020 Author Posted August 30, 2020 @olarila I found a new bug. If the laptop is running on battery it refuses to sleep if something is connected to the USB ports. It will go to sleep then wake instantly with this patch. Without the patch I have no issues. Does this only work if the laptop is plugged in? Is there a fix for that? Thanks.
