cagalindo Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Hi there, how are you guys today? So, I'm having a big trouble trying to install macOS Big Sur on my Desktop. Having some error: apfs_module_start:2425.. Here the specs. Mobo: Asus H310M E R2.0 Graphics: Radeon RX 580 8 GB Memory: 8GB SSD: KINGSTON 480G I'm trying to install using OpenCore and Beta 5. Already tried DSDT, SSDT-EC-USBX.aml, still nothing. Already include the patches in OpenCore configerror.zipuration, and nothing. I'm gonna attach my OC Folder so you guys can take a look. Also, the error and my ACPI folder extracted using Clover. Funny fact is that I don't have any problem using Catalina, without any patches. Anyway, could someone help me? Thanks. oc-folder.zip ACPI.zip

cagalindo Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 (edited) Still got the same error. SSDT-OLARILA.aml was already added to ACPI list, just checked if it was Enabled. Added patch RTC _STA find "A00A9353 54415301" replace "A00A910A FF0BFFFF" check Enabled. Same error, no changes. Any other sugestions? OC.zip Edited August 20, 2020 by cagalindo

cagalindo Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Same error :((( Almost giving up. Tried yours files, and also tried with SSDT-EC. With FakeSMC instead of VirtualSMC I got Kernel Panic. Got this:
cagalindo Posted August 22, 2020 Author Posted August 22, 2020 Tried both 0.6.0 and 0.6.1. Same error.

Same error. if u have a catalina, create one folder with full patches, good usb injector, etc and use same folder for big sur. u can use a restore way too. easy https://www.olarila.com/topic/9679-olarila-big-sur-beta-5-vanilla-image-restore-mode-easy-way/ -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
cagalindo Posted August 23, 2020 Author Posted August 23, 2020 Can close the topic. I was able to install Big Sur using FakeSMC. The kernel panic error that I was having was due to Lilu kext (I don't know why). Just compiled a new one and 100% working. Thank you guys.
