AppleBytes Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 OK I've been working on 2 ThinkPads -- 3 actually; 2 E531's and an L530. While applying this method on the L530 to make the USB ports accept USB sticks. I discovered that the battery icon up in the notification tray disappeared after reboot. But all the USB ports worked correctly. I think the battery is also controlled on/by the USB bus. Can anyone provide some more insight?
