Cristiano Fonseca Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Guys, I've been looking for months to solve my problem without success. The problem is that I can't update or even install Catalina using Opencore 0.5.9, the boot normally occurs via the pendrive or system partition, however, when I order the update to be installed, the computer reboots and displays the image error. Interestingly using Clover. the update goes smoothly, the problem is specific to Opencore. My base hardware is: Gigabyte Z309 M Gaming MSI 5700XT Core I5 9600K Has anyone had a similar problem and can help me? Error.zip Attached installation failure log. Installer Log 14-Jul-2020.txt.zip

Cristiano Fonseca Posted July 15, 2020 Author Posted July 15, 2020 Hi Mald0n, I used your EFI and just like mine, everything works, but the error in updating Catalina continues, this problem is strange, I can't even install Catalina via opencore, the same error occurs. If you change the bootloader to Clover it will update normally.
