@MaLd0n

Thanks for refinement to my DSDT. It's working fine under Big Sur but I've annoying problem. If I open Terminal for the first time, it works normal but when I quit and reopen Terminal, it behaves like TextEditor. I mean there's no way to type command. I also noticed that I can't shutdown the system and Control Setting hangs during 3 - 5 seconds. Any tips will be appreciated.

Thanks I used you EFI and it did the trick! I'm feeling the Mac is a bit too slow at startup than my previous EFI. Also the volume wifi toggles don't respond well, Is it because of Beta version of BIG SUR?? Its a bit laggy when I click the buttons. Catalina on the other side is a bit laggy but not as compared to BIG SUR.

One more question... Can I change the products name iMac Pro(2017) to something new. What should I do to change that in you EFI??

Can't I make it like MacPro the latest one? Thanks xD!!

One more thing mate!! I have Catalina and Big Sur on the same partition and when I try to partition down some space from the Catalina, I was able to do so. But the new created volume can't be added to Big Sur partition. Why??

It shows untitled and gives a message it would wipe everything off!! What Should I do?? I have tonnes of extra space on the other partition. Please help me with this too... Thanks

I wanted to know can I change the System settings from imac pro 2017

You can do that by changing your SMBIOS (SystemProductName and other related variables, like SystemSerialNumberMLB, BID, etc.) in your config.plist (use PlistEdit Pro and edit those keys in Root/PlatformInfo/Generic and Root/PlatformInfo/PlatformNVRAM). The correct values that refers to MacPro you can check on Clover Configurator (use it just to see the values that you'll replace in PlistEdit Pro). If u have no idea of how to do this, I suggest u read this guide: https://www.olarila.com/topic/8918-opencore-vanilla-guide-step-by-step-full-dsdt-patched-or-ssdt/

Thanks a lot! Big Sur is taking a hell lot of time! Booting time can be adjusted but after that it takes a lot to bring up the doc. then takes a whole bunch of time to respond and then it takes time to even open up finder, folders. But after a while everything becomes fast! Do you know what is the reason? Will it be the EFI i used the pre-made EFI from here.

Can someone help with the booting and startup time. Anyone know the reason???

Did not understand you brother. Start a Fine tune means???

Does it mean I need to play around and make changes in the EFI?

COPY PASTING MY EXACT PROBLEM: [PLEASE HELP]  It would mean the World to me.

So I have installed Big Sur recently and it takes a hell lot of time to boot. It. takes a long time with the codes and the apple logo and the I get the lock-screen entering there sometimes I get to see the wallpaper or sometimes it's black. Then it takes a long time to bring up my folders and stuff. I try to go click about the mac, it never comes up. Then I will try to open the finder it too takes time. I would open safari or any app it takes a lot of time. But after all this is done and I have used the system for while then its superb fast. Apps open up so damn fast, Rendering, FCPX, Android Studio everything.

BUT why is it taking time at the start??? I used a pre made EFI that I got from a guide that helped me to install BIG SUR! Will that be the reason?? Can someone please help I'm stuck here. I don't know why this is happening.

Please don't tell me this is because of the BETA version as I had the same Issue with Sierra. And I have seen Big Sur booting soo quick in several systems. Please help if you know what to do...

Thanks XD

Hey!

I get after I start OC this message:

OCS: No schema for BlacklistAppleUpdate at 3 index, context <Security>!

And when I boot BigSur I get this error symbol :(

I Have done everything from your tutorial twice!

But Thank everyone for the help!

EDIT: Added my EFI folder

https://www.file-upload.net/download-14180403/EFI.zip.html

Another question:

How can I update to beta 2? Can I just install it normally from the Settings like on a real Mac?
