Hello MaLd0n,

I have Big Sur installed with OpenCore, everything seems to be working good except the graphics.

I have 2 graphics card on my PC:

PCI Slot1: GTX 970

PCI Slot2: GTX 650

I also have 2 monitors:

-HP OMEN 25 connected to GTX 650 by DVI.

-Samsung C32JG5x connected to both 650 (by HDMI) & 970 (by DP).

When I boot the hackintosh, it starts on PCI Slot1 DP, verbose process finish and stays on verbose.

Both DVI & HDMI on 650 are working fine, but OS X detects 3 displays, not 2.

The problem is I need to mirror displays so I can see the main one, the DVI and HDMI displays connected to 650 are not the principal display.

Do you know what can I do to have just 650 detected so I have only 2 displays not 3? Maybe disable PCI Slot1?

I attach some screenshots for further information and RunMe.zip.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hello @MaLd0n

I have followed your guide Mobile Intel HD Graphics / Clover or Opencore for the hd 620 in 7th generation cpu, my processor is a KabyLake-U the i7-7500U but I still do not detect the internal LVDS monitor by BigSur.

Do you have any idea why? I've gone through hundreds of websites and tried dozens of settings but I only get video through the USB-C port to an HDMI adapter for an external monitor, so there I get graphics acceleration.

I pass you my current graphics configuration.

I hope you can help please, thank you very much, regards

Hello @MaLd0n

Thank you very much for your quick reply.

Exactly the same. I have graphics acceleration when I use the USB-C with an adapter to hdmi to an external monitor. I was already using that SMBIOS definition. I give you a sample of an ioreg and my config.plist. I am using the DSDT.aml that you patched for me.

Thanks a lot. Greetings

Hello @MaLd0n

What patch? Please could you specify a little more and give me some more details?

I'm more of a newbie to hackintosh.

I use OpenCore 0.6.4 on a KabyLake-U i7-7500U with HD620.

Thank you very much for the great help MaLd0n, greetings

Hi could you help me with my install? I have installed Big Sur but cannot get to the setup page. I have attached the screenshot of where it got stuck also a copy of the sanity checker page. The system is a dell precision M6800, with intel core i7 4040mx, Nvidia k5100m (which by the way you helped make work in Catalina DSDT) Would appreciate if you could help make it work again. Thanks

Thanks it worked. I have been able to setup the system. I am uploading send file and a link to my Catalina clover EFI folder. I would love to have the Nvidia (K5100M) card as default as before in Catalina install. Thanks for your great work to the hackintosh community.

Check hackintool

Hello @MaLd0n

It has also been impossible for me to create a patch with hackintool including the EDID in addition to other things. I think I'm going to give up because I've already tried everything I could find with no luck, I only get video through an external monitor, and it's a laptop, I need to get video through the internal lvds monitor but the screen always stays black .

Thank you very much for your help, I am sending you my donation for your DSDT.aml patch for sleep mode and other tips. I'm going back to Clover 5104 with Catalina 10.15.7 where I have full functionality, too bad graphics acceleration for HD 620 with OpenCore doesn't work in Big Sur 11.0.1,

regards
