Hello @MaLd0n

Please I need your help. I have generated a zip with RunMe.app. I am using OpenCore 0.6.4. I have managed to install macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 on a Yoga 910 laptop. I have this installed on an external SSD. On the internal SSD I have a dual boot installed with macOS Catalina 10.15.7 with Clover working perfectly.

With OpenCore in BigSur I did not get the following things to work:

- The most important thing is that it does not detect the internal screen, right now I am using a USB-C to HDMI adapter through which it only outputs a video signal, but I can't get audio.

- The touch screen does not work either, as soon as I touch the screen, it causes an immediate reboot.

- Lastly, I can't get the sleep mode to work either.

I look forward to your help and I will make a well-deserved donation.

Thank you and the entire team for your enormous work and the spectacular guides you do.

Cheers

Hello @MaLd0n
Would you help me please?

I've been installing Catalina on my own, and it success booting. Everything is working (the Trackpad, Brightness, Sound, etc). Yet, i still found a problem.
My laptop can't wake up from sleep mode, even i triggered it with keyboard button or opened my laptop lid. It only can be forced shutdown.
I've read some articles that the main culprit were USB Mapping, which i've fixed it but still won't wake my laptop from sleep.
And also, i've found your article that it can be fixed by patching DSDT

Maybe you can fix my laptop's sleep bug with patching my DSDT?
My laptop is Asus X442UR

Thank you so much.

PS : I've run your RunMe.app and i think there's an error on the process but it finished, maybe you can check it out too.  The error was saving the IOReg file, your automation searchin for folder /tmp/send_me and it didn't showed up and your app written "3x ioreg dumping  failed....". I can't upload it here because of the file size, so i uploaded it to other downloadable link

I'm sorry, so how can i use your config.plist properly?
I've replaced my copied EFI to Flashdisk, and replace the config.plist with yours, but it stuck and cannot boot.
Should i oc clean snapshot your config.plist to my copied EFI folder?

I attached the stuck image when booting.

Thanks

Hi @MaLd0n

I have tried the DSDT.aml that you have passed me and removed my old DSDT.aml and all SSDT.aml. I continue with the same kext.

Works:

- Sleep mode.

It does not work:

- Still not detecting the internal screen.

- If I touch the touch screen, it suffers an immediate reboot.

- There is no audio over HDMI.

Thank you very much for your effort, greetings, I hope you can continue to help me.

Would you mind to fix the sleep bug with patching my DSDT?

Thank you in advance.

I just copied my EFI From SSD, to Flashdisk, and edit the config.plist just like what you said.
But then, i can't boot it. It said that something like this again IMG_20201130_124500.zip.

I can boot normally when i boot from the SSD, but it always ended up just like the image when i boot into flashdisks

What can i do then?
