I'm new to this hackintosh, could you help me?
I'm trying in many ways to install the system on an M.2 SSD and always freezes the screen in the bootloader :(

Hello, first of all Thank you for this forum.. Really love it.

I'm trying to boot Catalina, it boots fine and runs the setup but the problem I'm facing is that when I run Disk Utility in setup it only shows me USB device and did not detect my internal SSD.

I'm using the following hardware.

Acer Predator Triton 300

Intel i7-10750H

16GB RAM

nVMe SSD - Intel Optane with RAID <-- This is my 1TB SSD.

4GB nVidia 1650Ti GPU

I'm using clover to boot.

You probably need ctlnaahciport.kext to see the unsupported SATA controller on your machine. This is eaxtcly what happened to me on an Ice Lake processor. However, I am setting my rig up with OpenCore and not Clover. Mald0n has made it easy for us... I would advise you to do the same (OpenCore and not Clover).

After re-reading your post, I see that it is an nVMe SSD, not a SATA drive - so not sure my suggestion would work for you. You probably need to have the correct nVMe kext.

I'm sorry friend I changed my mind to use Windows instead so I couldn't access the forum. Today I tried to go to the forum so I just saw this message. I've put up a link for you to take a look at. I'm not sure if it still works or not.

If you can solve the problem for the graphics card to work, please share some information with me.

HI Mate,

I have successfully completed a new project in Monterrey on a:
HP Pavilion x360 14",  i7-1065G7, 8 GB, 512 GB NVMe.

I used your EFI.Opencore.NoteBook.IceLake folder with a SMBIOS from a MacbookAir9.1, and everything works perfectly except the wifi as expected as it is not compatible, I am using a USB key at the moment.

I have never seen this error before, when I copy the folder to the EFI of the NVMe partition, Open Core does not boot from this location, the bios entry is detected correctly, as it is manually created, the loader starts, but when I boot into Open core it stays on this screen.

I have tried in catalina, big sur and monterrey, and always the same error..

I can only boot opencore from USB, has this ever happened to you?

Thanks..!

Hi Mate,

NVMe Intel 660P 512gb

I thought this might be the problem, but I read that some people were using it without problems.

I also tried with your EFI CLOVER, Lenovo IdeaPad S145 10th Gen IceLake HackBook, including the SSDT-OLARILA.aml, and the same error occurs.

What do you think you might be?

Greetings
