Hello

So I got Lenovo Ideapad 330s (i5 8250, UHD 620)

recently I switched to OpenCore and started to convert my DSDT to ssdt hotpatches

I made a good progress but now I'm stuck with the battery

I did my own DSDT battery patch as there is no public patches available and it's working fine but when trying to convert it to ssdt I fail

my problem is with EC inputs and how to deal with them, methods and the rest I got them, take a look at "SSDT-BATT-330s in progress" file

here's a folder that contains the required files Ideapad 330s.zip

I find it less messy than dsdt ?

and opencore doesn’t like dsdt as I can see in their website

My battery doesn’t work natively with virtualsmc +smcbattey kexts

Anyways if you got some experience with converting a patch to ssdt pls let me know I got couple of questions no more :)

what?

DSDT is a principal bios/uefi table, all computers use it

SSDT just inject into DSDT
