Installed Mojave 10.14.6, unable to change the resolution. using Samsung 4K monitor, but the only resolution available is 1280x1024. Screenshots attached. Please guide me.

Till today morning, I was using El Capitain and no issue with resolution. Now after reading benefits of Apple new file system, I decided to upgrade to Mojave. System details.zip

Your video card is not natively supported:

Doesn't mean that it may not work, just that it may require a little work on your behalf to get it to work and there is no guarantee that it won't have problems. IMHO, For the best experience with the least amount of headaches stick with a supported card.

Here is the current list of NVIDIA supported cards on Mojave:

Nvidia Kepler Cards that are Natively Supported:

  • GTX Titan (GK110)
  • GTX Titan Black (GK110)
  • GTX Titan Z
  • GTX 780/Ti
  • GTX 770
  • GTX 760/Ti
  • GT 740
  • GT 730
  • GT 720
  • GT 710
  • GTX 690
  • GTX 680
  • GTX 670
  • GTX 660/Ti
  • GTX 650/Ti
  • GTX 645 (GT 645 is Fermi)
  • GT 640 (Kepler edition, GK107/208 core)
  • GT 630 (Kepler edition, GK208 core)
  • Quadro 410
  • Quadro K420
  • Quadro K600
  • Quadro K2000/D
  • Quadro K4000/D
  • Quadro K4200
  • Quadro K5000
  • Quadro K5200
  • Quadro K6000
  • Quadro NVS510

Please double check that the card is Kepler based as there are some cards here that are not Kepler based. When in doubt check the card part # @GPUZOO to verify a Kepler chip.  there are also some issues with some of the 600 series cards that may create problems. Best advice is if you are gonna use one of the above listed cards stick with a 700 series for the least amount of problems, but always verify a Kepler chip on the card!
