Irish_Man Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) Edit Info.plist of VoodooHDA and specify ID of motherboard audio (IOPCIPrimaryMatch) http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=454 Sorry but i have no idea which ID i need from this list. Can you please help with this? http://cl.ly/image/1h3w1o394745 I have changed from IOPCIClassMatch to IOPCIPrimaryMatch but don't know which ID and vendor I need UPDATE: Ok, I've downloaded the Voodoo.kext from the link you posted. Removed Voodoo.kext from Lib/Ext and installed the downloaded one. I got the sound back. Now I have to backup that because I'm afraid it will happen again. Thank you very much. Even, I don't understand how that can happen. Sound was working all day and suddenly was gone... Thank you... Irish_Man Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Hi, me again .......well, everything is working great but i just found out that these folders (etc, tmp, var) are shortcuts and they should be hidden and inside /private folder. I've checked and they are. Can I just delete them?. And "cores" folder was not there yesterday either. It's empty. Network too. Thanks.... http://cl.ly/image/2l3D2U3Y2e3w Gigabyte Z490 - Vision G Intel Core i7-10700K Saphire Radeon Pulse RX 580 4Gb Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 C18 Samsung SSD EVO 860 500GB Corsair HX750 80Plus Platinum
rakusson Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Hi artur-pt, It seems we have same configuration in our computer. My sound isn't working after installing Mountain Lion. I too have Alc272. How did you manage it to work? Also, I used unishit method to install ML but wont recognize my graphics card. Graphics card run fine with Chameleon after internal lcd forced edid. My Elantech trackpad works fine when I boot using unishit USB but wont work when booting through Chameleon!!! I copied all kexts from Extra/Extension folder from unishit to Chameleon but no success? any suggestion? eMachines E730G Intel Core i3-350M, 3 GB DDR3, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470,Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet BCM 5788, Realtek ALC272, Elantech PS/2 TouchPad

rakusson Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 hello i use dsdt injection for alc272 and apple hda http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2526 this one good hack Hi,Thanks for tips. The problem with dsdt is that I could not compile dsdt last time so Mald0n compiled it for me. So even if I inject for alc272 there is no gurantee that I can re-compile it successfully. However, sound was working flawlessly in OS X Lion. Can I use the same kext for ML? If I have to use dsdt injection, can you give me a link of dsdt injection tutorial? Have you also tried to connect your computer with TV using HDMI? IF yes, how did you manage it? I get black screen after connecting HDMI cable with TV. sorry for asking lots of question. eMachines E730G Intel Core i3-350M, 3 GB DDR3, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470,Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet BCM 5788, Realtek ALC272, Elantech PS/2 TouchPad

yral Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Hey, I'm getting the same error. Do you know how you fixed it? I followed the normal procedure.. Previously this had happened to the install USB but I fixed it somehow, I think it was after adding NullCPUManagement.kext but it is not working for an installed copy which gets the same error.. Kernel version is set as 11.0.0.. This is wrong? Help! EDIT: Nevermind I got it to work, just had to start from scratch.. Hey, I'm getting the same error. ojpd Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Question: Do I really need to have a DSDT?? I have gotten everything I need to work just by using multishit, my only real problem is a CMOS problem in which everytime I reboot my OSX partition it resets the bios date and time which affects only my bios and my Windows partitions.. The CMOS Reset doesn't change my Mac partition's date and time, as in my OSX install is OK.. But my Bios and Windows partition TIME always gets messed up everytime I reboot or shutdown my OSX install.

sheravi Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I apologize if this has already been answered, but I can't seem to find the answer to my question. I'm currently using Windows 8 on a MacBook Pro Retina as my main laptop, but I don't need to access the Mac partition that often. My plan was to take my existing Mac partition and somehow convert it for use within Virtualbox so I can just whip that out from time to time. Is there a way to do this?
