Ricardo Filho Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Hi! How are you guys? Many years out of the Hackintosh scene, I got back now knowing even less, so pretty near to nothing, sorry. So, I got Mojave installed on a Acer Aspire E5-571-598P, at first only HD 5500 was working well with accelerated video and everything. Audio and Wi-fi weren't. Then I followed a guide to install AR956x on Mojave, removed IO80211Family.kext and IO80211FamilyV2.kext and installed corecapture.kext, CoreCaptureResponder.kext and IO80211Family.kext, rebooted it and Wi-fi worked, but now HD 5500 doesn't even show it's name how it did before, and its 4mb now. Idk what I did, what I want now its for it to work as audio too. There's some app that let us list each device? I don't remember the audio card nor did I found it in the web.

Ricardo Filho Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 Thank you for answering, I replaced at the EFI partition but now it reboots. I wonder why it was working all right before I installed the wireless kexts, what I did wrong?

Ricardo Filho Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 (edited) 21 hours ago, MaLd0n said: apply patch in correct section I'm sorry for the delay, but how do I patch it? I tried via hackintool but it didn't work. I thought it was just replacing, my bad. So I patch the config.plist attached with my id? My bios is locked too, I think dvmt is set by default 32mb. I tried an id with a total stolen below that, but I still get panic for some bytes. EDIT - So, I installed the system again, and it worked, installed the kexts for wireless card, works. Now all that's left is audio, and some minor tweaks, like screen brightness control, ethernet, and such. Most needed now is audio of course. I tried to install appleALC but still doesn't work. Do I have to do something about my DSDT/SSDT? Edited April 23, 2020 by Ricardo Filho
