Nibody Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 (edited) I am having all sorts of issues getting my USB, touchpad and sound working - Laptop is a Dell Latitude e5420 i7 variant (I know the wifi card is incompatible so have a replacement coming to try.) It runs Mojave fantastically well (HD3000 gfx is no problem). Mojave sees the three ports on the USB 3.0 express card I have semi permanently installed but only as USB 2,0, and if more than three devices are plugged in (via a USB Hub) it locks up. It does not register any of the three USB 2.0 native ports at all. Have tried patching for the Sound issues using the app on the install USB, but still no sound. Tried a few other ideas I looked up and these resulted in Kernell Panicks. At one point I did manage to get sound working by accident but I had changed several things during a troubleshooting session and lost track (resulted in a kernel panic anyway). Sound is the IDT 92HD90BXX. Also followed the instructions to get OSX to boot from the HDD but everything has failed (don't have a major issue booting from the USB) Fairly new to all of this so any pointers/advice would be great https://www.dropbox.com/s/q7scal6os8x0eby/Send me Daves-MacBook-Pro.zip?dl=0 Edited April 19, 2020 by Nibody
