ChickenJoeJoe Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Hello to everyone, I'd like to do an installation of MacOS in my laptop computer while maintaining the data and windows 10. So i would like to have a dual boot laptop with both os working flawlessly if possible. But i'm not sure how to proceed or even if it is possible or if macOS will run ok. If anyone can help my i would apreciate it very much. My laptop configurations are: - Dell Latitude 3340 - Intel core i5-4200u - Intel HD Graphics 4400 - 8GB RAM - 500 GB ssd Samsung 850 EVO

ChickenJoeJoe Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 (edited) I made it, but i’m stuck in the macbook configuration because the usb and the trackpad doesn’t Work. Keep on trying. i made an usb mouse to work! Now i’ve to do all the post installation process to make it work perfect, the most complicated part and where i’m more lost. ChickenJoeJoe Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 Mald0n i have a big problem now, i can’t boot any os. In macos it stucks at applePS2Controller: timed out on mouse input stream And in Windows it stucks just in a blinking “_” black screen please help
ChickenJoeJoe Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 (edited) Still can’t boot from windows but i was able to boot to macos. But it only works with the efi from the installer usb. The one that i dowloaded from your post for my haswell was causing trouble keep on it. Windows problem is, that i have delete its EFI... so i’ll have to recover it. About macOS i’m pretty lost on all the kexts and dsdt, no idea how to proceed. another edit: I think I've fix the video card and the audio. it seems to work well. Still have a problem running RunMe.app, so I cannot get the dsdt. trackpad, time, battery and brightness not working. And I don't know how many things more I've to do after that. Teodor91 Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Just a quick question on this topic. I am following the step by step guide! As a beginer into this, it's frustrating not to make it work! I'm trying to boot MacOS from the usb stick and I get stuck at "timed out on mouse input stream". How it's the step by step solution for this? Please!

I'm still running under Windows here. The app that you posted is supposed to be executed under osX, right?
