I then El Capitan similar issue, seems to boot ok but GUI does't come up, again tried config 1 & 2. This laptop has both HD300 and NVIDIA Corporation GF106 [Quadro 2000M]. Below is the device list. Fixed PPNT errors with this patch "into method label PPNT replace_content begin // nothing end;" Now getting "broken text" and no entry sign as per attached picture IMG_2270.jpg.zip

maccoylton Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 ok .. it looks like HD300 in the I7 has been disabled by HP. No wonder I can't get it to start up. Will try again now will nVidia card
