I was using the instructions from

https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339980-audiogods-aorus-z390-pro-patched-dsdt-mini-guide-and-discussion/

and AudioGod suggested that I get a personalized DSDT for my specs since we are using different parts even though they are a bit similar.

I was able to install Catalina on my computer with his EFI and with OcQuirks R19.zip,  but i noticed it runs a bit slow, and sometimes I get errors when I download things, i'm not sure if I need a patch also or if the DSDT will fix the problem.

My EFI is to big to send here, I used the clover method

These are the specs of my computer,

  • SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 5700 XT
  • Intel Core i5-9600K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
  • Gigabyte Z390 AORUS ULTRA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
  • Seagate FireCuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive
  • NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition with RGB Fan
  • G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)

I did it and it worked, Im trying to send it to you but there is a limit on the the size of the file to send it here.  My file is a bit more than 3 MB an the limit is 2.93MB where would be a good place to send it to you?   You can send me a private message if you want.

I tried the new EFI and even tried to reinstall my computer with the new EFI but my screen just turned black.  Before it turns black the screen says

(con.apple.bsd.dirhelper.614) <Warning>: Endpoint has been activated through legacy launch(3) APIs. Please switch to XPC or bootstrap_check_in(): com.apple.bsd.dirhelper
<warning>:Service exited with abnormal code: 1

So everything was working ok, I put the EFI file on the HDD, so I wouldn't have to use the usb anymore, but know I get an error when I restarted.

Error allocating 0x1194f pages at 0x000000000791b000 alloc type 2

Boot failed: will sleep for 10 seconds before exiting...

Error: Aborted returned from boot.efi
