Alexander Wang Posted February 21, 2020 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Hi guys, so even though my DSDT is patched and my RX560 says Hardware acceleration is working it was having a hard time with 4k playback and sleep for longer then an hour is not working. Yes but with WEG and Lilu 1.3.4 nothing changed. So old and latest WEG nothing changes. Shinkivga=16 or 80 same result. when i tried to play a 4k sample file it wouldnt play. Alexander Wang Posted February 24, 2020 Author Share Posted February 24, 2020 Ok I have changed it in clover to be a headless I gpu. It calls it a Xeon Graphics accelerator. However It will not play back a 4k video that the real MAC will just fine. Here is the test video I am trying to play. https://www.demolandia.net/4k-video-test/theater/page-1.html . Blue guy in the middle. My 2017 MBP plays it just fine. In Quicksync if mine is working. it just plays a black screen.
