Icaro82b
Hi everyone, My HDDs don’t work in Catalina, only SSDs. I’ve identified the problem. I have an old system (X58) that gives problems with Intel IHC10 in new OSX versions. I’ve searched for information and all I’ve found is a kext patch for Catalina that enables hot plug or try to install the AppleAHCIPort.kext v.328. The patch isn’t the solution for my problem and installing AppleAHCIPort.kext (with the help of Hackintool) in the Library/Extensions folder causes Catalina to stop working and not boot. Any advice or information I don’t know? Thank you!

I tried to change the config.plist settings, boot without DSDT, Clover, Opencore, and nothing... I read another solution today: Change SATA device-id to ICH6 8126 I will investigate how to do it. Thanks again!
