Gmobilize
Hello, I have been reading numerous forums and threads and trying to make my Test Laptop DELL Inspiron 7537 to work with 10.15.3 as good as it can get. Currently I have most of the things working and Geekbench scores are even better than on Windows 10 somehow. Specs: i7-4510U HD4400 Nvidia GT750M 8GB RAM I have latest Catalina 10.15.3 build With fully working graphics acceleration, wifi, brightness controls, battery managment, it hibernates well and everything is working smoothly, except the audio. As reported by DPCI manager, it has Realtek ALC283, and in High Sierra it was working fine, not sure about Mojave as I was not using it much, and jumped straight to Catalina. I have tried AppleALC.kext with Lilu.kext and injecting platform-id=3 via Clover, but no luck. I even tried installing AppleALC.kext with Lilu.kext and vanilla AppleHDA.kect in /L/E as suggested by some users, and that did not work as well. I read a lot before posting, but cases with 10.15 and ALC283 seem to be minimal or their solutions do not work with my setup. VoodooHDA.kext was the only one that at least got audio devices to show up, but no speaker output was present and 3.5mm jack was very muffled. At this point I am a little bit out of options as from what I understand, Audio should actually work with minimal AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext setup, but it does not, where as graphics do work natively. If needed I cant dump my Clover folder and other dumps, but maybe anyone has had a similair issue and would like to suggest something? Thanks in advance.
