I suspect the load problem is related to the GPU, tried disabling power management as it could have been a culprit. Still new the the hackintosh thing, but got the system mostly functional except for that freezing problem.

Here's the send_me info. http://www.mediafire.com/file/4piiydoi5bxdtcm/Send_me_iMac-Pro.zip/file (unable to attach directly but link works for 14 days from this posting).

Seems like I'm right there. Any significant activity pegs the GPU (Gigabyte Vega 64) and then freezes the system. I have to hard power off/on to get it working again. This seems like the one barrier to my daily driver use of this system. Regards.

Thanks, I've added it in and rebooted, I'll post results after 24 hours (as it's fairly random, I've gone as long as 10 hours before the freeze happens).

Still froze up, but a bit differently this time. Locked up but no fan spins or black screen this time. Just the whole system halted, still required a hard power off.

So good news, bad news, Good news, figured out the problem. Bad news (for me), it was hardware. Ran the card on my windows drive and it crashed there as well with a green screen of death. Just bought a replacement and running an old (but supported card) on this setup now to see if it does the job.
