c.link86 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 (edited) hello I'm trying to hackintosh a dell Optiplex 3020 (most specs in profile) nearly everything works except Graphics an older Radeon (HD5450) so again im stuck on HS Till i upgrade to a Metal 2 complient card but i'm still having issues with hw accel I'll add the run me tomorrow cause it's late now VGA works oddly w/o HW accel but the main problem lies in the HDMI It'll boot into clover but is a black screen after that (windows seems to have the same issue til i "activate" hdmi in catalyst by first entering windows with vga) if you need more info it'll have to wait til tomorrow Edited January 14, 2020 by Guest

c.link86 Posted January 15, 2020 Author Posted January 15, 2020 tried that just now didn't work (currently using vga) edit: can now boot into hdmi still no HWA something with SIP prevented boot i changed 0x28 to i think 0x2e7 (allow unapproved kext) also changed shikigva=60 to 80 i have deinit on when macos loaded it said "a kext prevented macos to boot all 3rd party kext are now disabled" so we are getting somewhere atleast
c.link86 Posted January 15, 2020 Author Posted January 15, 2020 got it but didn't use weg options.... it maybe not supported here but he was the solution I used ATI FakeID = 0x68E01002 FBName = Cedar InjectATI = True VideoPorts = 3 at first it caused color problems flashing colors but using a paid app temporarly (SwitchResX trial) I switched the color mode from billions to millions which fixed the issue plus i got full hwa + underscan so i got the desktop to fit unlike my nvidia GT730 thanks for the help
