schatten
About the reboot bug on sleep mode. That is the Realtek driver who made the Kernel Panic. I disabled the ethernet port into the bios and the sleep mode work now . The auto time sleep function work fine, but it's not ok by the Apple menu Suspend. Cassio
Don't use both HDAEnabler889.kext and HDEF patch in DSDT at same time, use one or other. ALC8xxHDA.kext only works with AppleHDA "rollback" (from 10.6.2). Read this http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=212 or use VoodooHDA http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=454 -Donations- PayPal HERE - Stripe HERE - BuyMeaCoffee HERE - Mercado Livre HERE Skrill danielnmaldonado@gmail.com - BTC 33HeGCuCSh4tUBqdYkQqKpSDa1E7WeAJQ3 PicPay @danielnmaldonado - PiX @danielnmaldonado@gmail.com Premium Users HERE - Problems with Paypal HERE
schatten
After patching my DSDT with the modification founded on this post http://tonycrapx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=29531&start=70. The sound is now OK, I delete the ALC8xxHDA.kext and HDAEnabler889.kext. My computer goes sleep mode normally by the apple menu 'suspend'. Everything is ok, now
crytic
Could you attach your final DSDT? I tried various ones but always ended up without sleep :/ Thanks a lot!
swe3tdave
Ok, i have the same board, GA-G41MT-D3V, i did the modification found by schatten, here is the link again so you can download the kext for the audio: http://www.tonycrapx86.com/audio/26439-alc889-applehda-kext-10-7-x-lion.html I removed the voodoohda i was using, and installed the modified applehda.kext they are providing. I can tell you the audio sound great, i can put the volume at half of what it was before, for the same level, but without the white noise. Sleep is not working for me thought.
