Complete shutdown notebooks RTX2070 for battery time

Recommended Posts

Hi MaLd0n

i want to completely shutdown nvidia rtx2070 on my notebook

(im using uhd630 out of the box.)

no need hdmi or dp out, i use displaylinks usb to hdmi adapter.

when the power light is red; nvidia consumes power and notebook life is around 30 mins.

if only uhd630 is running, light will be white and the battery life will be 2-3 hrs ?

how can i do, where to start?

my runme is attached.

OS: Mojave 10.14.6

HW:

MSI GE75

cpu: i7-9750H

chipset: HM370

vga: Intel UHD 630 and nvidia rtx2070

battery: 6 cell

adapter: 280 W

Notebook is %95 complete now; shutdown, restart, sleep, sound, mic, touchpad,kb,battery, etc...

only battery time is a problem.

ops, yes, ty

i deleted all fakesmc kexts, it was an experiment for HWMonitor app.

forgot to delete them, im doing so many trial and errors; my main image has no problems.

from where to start rtx2070 full delete, patch? , so that battery life will be more longer.

Regards.

yes it is disabled i know,

BUT; the system power button led is red, i know below there nvidia is still consuming energy?

if it was only uhd630 , led would be white.

and i can understand it from battery life, i ve done many experiments.

i mean complete shutdown of nvdia via dsdt ssdt patch, etc ?

i have SSDT-DDGPU.aml in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/

is it enough?
