this works great! :crazy: I dont have time to install Catalina vanilla manually now so went with this image.


did manual vanilla install on Mojave before and took couple days of learning but installing and booted this in less than an hour! audio works unlike my Mojave install. Apple watch unlocking is only feature not working from Mojave; not big deal to me. feels more stable than my vanilla install i think :shock:


only thing I changed is removing verbose and display Apple logo in place. looking awesome!

After trying for 2 days still I was not able to boot it, copy your efi folder, did not touch anything I had kernel panics just on the start then I figure it out it’s cause the whatevergreen so I deleted the kext because the xt5700 drivers are integrated, then I update whole kexts and drivers(efi) and still nothing, maybe some bios settings? Strange cause now I am able to see the apple logo, but it’s not booting and suddenly it gets reboot before the recovery Mode. Any suggestions or recommendation? Thanks in advance guys

Thank you maldon for your interest it’s just shows a black screen... it seems that it can be fixing waiting 10-15m, it might a decompression of the dmg... I also try with already build amd Catalina clover, and actually it end with a half white screen, grey the other half and nothing, it’s something related with my gpu, if nothing it’s working I will unplug it and try without, I am sure it’s not your efi, once again thank your maldon, these Catalina is a pain in the a**.

Unfortunately the beta I download it was in Russian 10.15.2 beta 3

Hi MaLd0n, I have tried to install macOS Catalina 10.15.2 (19C57) with your EFI folder, but it just gets stuck on the apple logo? should I try with 10.15.1 or 0? :)

Hi erroruser, I have tried for over a week (day & night) to install MacOS on my PC and i'm a total noob to this so I have tried 10-15 different Guides online and none of them have worked.. I have tried both Clover and OpenCore, but I read somewhere that OpenCore is best for Vanilla install? But i have absolutely no idea how to make an EFI folder there works on my PC.. And I can't a complete one anywhere :)

PS. I have tried both High Sierra and Catalina, when i find a EFI folder somewhere its only a half one? Missing different folders like Misc or ACPI and most of the times i get an error that says i missing vault? :)

I have completed the install with clover on a Ryzen 3 3600 and 10,15,1, all the feel was smooth, but now with OpenCore and 10,15,2 I have some slow downs moving the mouse and a bit sluggish in general. I tried to run "Run Me App" but always give me an error and it's not generating me the file I need. Any suggestions? Have exported my DSDT with SSDTime Master and patched the EC.

MaLd0n, I already did this and always have a loop retrying 33 secs, It create me the files inside send_me folder, but not the file send_me.zip

Would you say there is a big difference between running AMD and Intel Hackintosh? More stable. less stable?

Do you recommend one over the other...?
