athrun1234 Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 (This is my first post here, apologies if this is in the wrong spot... Could a moderator move this to the correct one thanks...) Hey guys, I was looking to upgrade my High Sierra installation on my rig but have run into a host of problems just getting the USB to even boot to the setup. Coming from a tonycrap's X99 High Sierra installation but would prefer a clean install. Rig Details: Intel Core i7 6850k ASUS STRIX X99 GAMING (1903 BIOS, last known updated BIOS with the UEFI registers unlocked) 32GB DDR4 RAM MSI ARMOR GEFORCE GTX 1070 8GB What I've done so far: Downloaded Olarila Mojave - That just kernal panics seconds after startup, resets itself Downloaded and installed CLOVER.X99 EFi folder from Clover Folder/ All Chipsets forum (https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8222) - Would still panic after inital startup, doesn't reset just tries to recover after the panic. Downloaded and Installed X99.EFi from the X99 specfic forum post (https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=7372&start=40) - Crashes on first screen, doesn't startup at all. I think the panic comes as the CPU is detected, I had a similar problem with High Sierra which was solved with the TSCSync kext being altered and some added lines in the plist, tried a modified version of my High Sierra plist with the X99 patches, just does nothing. I'll try and get some SS's off my camera. Any pointers would be helpful and thanks in advance.
